There were 3 of us driving a U-Haul from Denver to St Louis. We arrived at the hotel minutes before midnight. The door was locked and we called the number on the door. They cancelled our room and filled it for someone else, without acknowledging usbecause it was after 11pm. I looked at the email confirmation and it states last check in is midnight. My room was not clean, there was a dead cockroach on the floor, hair in the shower and smelled bad. The outside door to the property did not lock.

We booked this hotel on this site. Showed up to the hotel at 1115pm. Apparently they close at 11pm and gave our reservation away at 7:30pm. Will never book anything through this site or stay at an extended stay ever!!!!

I paid before we left the state that we live in and once we got there we were denied our room and a refund. I’m still currently waiting on a refund a whole week later. The lady at the front and the representative from hotels.com were both very rude. Because of us being denied our room we had to ride around searching for somewhere to sleep with a irritable toddler and everywhere was booked up. We ended up finding a room and had to pay more money to stay there and still hadn’t received a refund. Our weekend getaway was ruined ... read more

If you value luxury, this is NOT the place. No elevator and my room was on the third floor. The air unit leaked all over the floor and the maintenance person never came, turns out he called in sick for a few days. I had to change rooms and parts of the floor were unstable in that room. The front desk personnel and cleaning crew were very courteous and helpful though.
