Cheap what do you expect? I booked this for an convention 3 months ahead of time. The only reason I chose this hotel was it was the last hotel within walking distance of the convention. I reserved a 2 bed room 3 months ahead of time and somehow the logic of the staff is all they had was a handicapped room but they saved it for me.... yet I reserved a 2 bed room? First 5 minutes my buddy uses the bathroom and the toilet doesn't work. I am told maintanence will be there around 7-8....... yeah try 12-1am. Never staying here aga... read more

Not Impressed No room service for stays less than 7 days. No restocking of coffee in the morning. Receptionist hours begin at 7 am, so better plan for coffee for early birds. Asked receptionist for more coffee, but was informed that they ran out.

Recommended with warnings... Overall, this place was nice- clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. however, the only problem was that the whole place smelled very strongly of curry and other foods that were being cooked in the kitchens of each suite. This was not limited to just one room/ area, but was present throughout the whole hotel. After our one night stay, all our belongings and clothes reeked of curry. Not very pleasant at all and made what was otherwise a comfortable stay a little bit unpleasant.

Marginal I was in town for one night visiting son @ Rutgers just down Easton Ave. Hotel's proximity to I-287 and Rutgers was ideal. Room was billed as "non-smoking" but it had that lingering smell of a room they tried to "de-odorize". But it was not that bad. No Shampoo in shower was lame. A little noisy, but I'm a light sleeper. TV remote channel changer only worked in one direction. But for $~68 bucks... I really did not need much more. Next time... Very slow Internet service and an insincere apology The desk chair was missing. It was replaced quickly after I alerted the front desk. However, the Internet service was poor for both days of my stay. It was slow in the morning and in the evening. The download speed was 200K. I informed the checkout clerk that I could not access the Internet with the previously supplied password. She apologized but took no action. Very loud Rooms are not cleaned every day. There were a lot of guests staying with dogs in the room and barked a lot. There were people having some BBQ outside. The price should be much lower since the rooms are not getting cleaned everyday.
