A foul odor Even after shutting the heat off the room had a strange odor. Tried spraying air freshner but when we left for the day and returned the smell was still there.

Disgusting, unclean smell. Disgusting, unclean - when walking on the carpet, your feet feel waxy and gross. The room smelled as if someone had lived in it without a shower for months.

Disappointed!! I booked the room at 3 am so the laundry guy (covering the front desk) told me that I have to check out at 11 am. He charged my credit card for the room even though I paid on Hotels.com. Another person called me to apologize and said I can check in again and stay a full day (in the middle of a snowstorm) and she reimbursed my money. I was thankful for that but I couldn't go back in a snowstorm. Waist of money!! The room was average and pretty old, it smelled stale. I'll never stay again.

"Extended Stench America" might be better name I find it amazing that you still have to pay over $100 for a smoking room (that was all that was left) that smelled like a mix of smoke, indian food, and bad spray odorizer...but I needed to fly out of Newark the next morning and this hotel was the closest I could get in the ~$100 price range. So, I get you get what you pay for. On a positive note, it was nice to have a kitchenette, although everything looked a litte worn out. And, the front office staff was very helpful.

check others in the area While this was pretty cheap, it was a necessity to stay there, but I have stayed in other hotels in the area for the same price that are far superior. Desk clerks are clueless, hotel is dingy, very depressing.

Stay elsewhere. Had a confirmed reservation for a single queen, non-smoking. Tried to shove me into a double twin room in smoking, telling me it was non-smoking. Really? The stench and the ashtray proved them wrong. They told me they were fully booked and had nothing else available. But yet they did find a double twin in non-smoking when my guest complained of being asthmatic and that they would be liable if no other room was found.
