Decent hotel for traveling on a budget. Room looked neat and decently clean. I was really impressed to find out that my room has a mini kitchen inside and we are encouraged to cook our own meals. One thing I found inconvenient though, is the lack of drinking water. The only option was tap water which for me is a no go. It would be nice if they could include some cheap bottles of water for guests.
We were super cost conscious due to the college graduation taking place that weekend. From a cost perspective this was one of the best. The hotel is barebones: no hairdryer, no utensils, tiny bit of shampoo. But that might be expected for what we paid. The employees were VERY nice. Rooms not super clean but sheets and towels were clean. Depends on what you can tolerate.
The staff was wonderful. The refrigerator worked but looked like it came from a tenement house in Gary. There was trash (empty bottles, food wrappers and broken jewelry) under both beds, more than two handfuls, and yes I checked because I had an 18 month old toddler that will find anything and a pre sweep is necessary.
Great Staff! The staff was wonderful! The beds were comfortable. The room had a bit of an unpleasant odor. We were going to a concert and the hotel had coordinated a shuttle, which was wonderful! Overall, the hotel served the purpose we were looking for!
Good location! Clean, staff was pleasant and professional.
Facility needs some work. This unit had a kitchenette. The refrigerator and freezer doors opened away from the kitchen, on the wall side. I took them apart and changed the swing of the door as it should have been. The room needs a paint touch up, and the remote didn't work, so I got a new one from the front desk. Carpet needs cleaned.
Adequate at best. Broken elevator, Front desk personnel recleaned the room during my inspection of the room found stinky areas.
