Location was OK. Did not like the tears in the carpet, no hangers in the closet, no tray in the microwave, no trash can in the entire room, manual lock broken on the door

Good value A good value in this area. No frills, but clean with a helpful staff. Very convenient to downtown and USC.

I booked this hotel without reading any reviews. I read them after I couldn't cancel. The staff was very accommodating finding me a good room. My first room had roaches so I asked to look at another room, the second room was better until I pulled back the covers on the bed and a roach ran across. The woman helping me said lets go to the second floor I know the perfect room, a returning customer is very picky and he always stays in this room. This room is where I stayed for the three nights. older The hotel seemed old and it has a weird stairwell setup. I wouldn't call the on-the-go breakfast as breakfast. If you call it breakfast, you expect something more than coffee and granola bars. But if you aren't expecting breakfast and they have free coffee and oatmeal, than you would consider it a bonus.

Budget option The location was very convenient. We stayed here for a college football game over the weekend. The cost was much lower than comparable surrounding options so we chose this hotel. The staff were pleasant. It did the job but I most likely won’t return. The rooms had a smell of smoke and just didn’t feel very clean. The sheets on our bed were stained and somewhat questionable.

Ask for your toiletries and kitchen supplies Minus the hallways smelling of pot and room reeking like an ashtray and I'm a smoker (i dont smoke inside) but it was to much I bought an air freshener. The room was a good size and bed was awesome. We were not told everything is provided and you have to ask for it (even toilet paper) so bought toilet paper, paper plates and cups ect....we got what we paid for plus spending more on what we needed. Nothing for breakfast when we got down there. Dogs running loose and pooping outside... read more

NOT THIS LOCATION, IT'S DISGUSTING The hotel is an older but recently renovated facility. We understand that this is the Palmetto state, but really? Yep, regular extermination is definitely needed. The refrigerator smelled like rotten meat. My wife had to sanitize it and put a deodorizer in it. There was trash under the bed. We also were not given a full set of cooking utensils and dishes. A staff member told us that they had people staying there who were tenants and needed the cooking utensils & dishes. We purchased our own... read more
