NOT THIS LOCATION, IT'S DISGUSTING The hotel is an older but recently renovated facility. We understand that this is the Palmetto state, but really? Yep, regular extermination is definitely needed. The refrigerator smelled like rotten meat. My wife had to sanitize it and put a deodorizer in it. There was trash under the bed. We also were not given a full set of cooking utensils and dishes. Ask for your toiletries and kitchen supplies Minus the hallways smelling of pot and room reeking like an ashtray and I'm a smoker (i dont smoke inside) but it was to much I bought an air freshener. The room was a good size and bed was awesome. We were not told everything is provided and you have to ask for it (even toilet paper) so bought toilet paper, paper plates and cups ect....we got what we paid for plus spending more on what we needed. The customer service upon checkin was pleasant. We arrived at the wrong building and were directed to the correct building. However, we let the front desk personnel know that the battery was removed from our smoke detector. It wasn't rectified the duration of our stay. It was clean, except for one bug in the light fixture. There was trash in the halls and no trash cans in the rooms. The cable worked and we were given wifi code upon check in, but we didn't use it. The surrounding area was very peaceful and close to most amenities, room size was larger than expected and nicely presented.
