The Most Disgusting Hotel I've EVER Stayed In. The Extended Stay Hotel and Suites in East Syracuse, NY, next to the Emabssy Suites is completely disgusting! From the moment we walked in, I could see that the walls needed to be repainted and the carpets were stained. I tried to give this establishment the bennefit of the doubt, but walking from the elevator to the room, I smelled and saw the most foul things I have ever seen in a hotel. You get what you pay for!! Due to our schedule we checked in late, we had to get some 'amenities' I thought were supposed to be in the room, from the front desk (shampoo, coffee amd sugar) which made us late meeting friends for dinner. My wife found a moldy fast food snack in the back of a drawer. We booked a smoking room, but did not expect the room to smell like a wet ashtray or for the pillows to smell of sweat. Incorrect Booked 3 non-smoking rooms. Received 2 smoked filled rooms and 1 non-smoking room. Front desk was not helpful. Said problem was due to [...]error and not with Hotel Management. Managed to find alternate accommodation for one of the smoke-filled rooms nearbyWould not use again.

"Extended Stay" cut short Worst room I have ever been in. Had to practicaly kick door to get it closed tight enough to latch. Stains on floors and chair (don't even want to know....) Bed lumpy and very uncomfortable - got very little sleep. Had to pay for shampoo - in a shower that I was worried I'd come out worst than when i went in. Will never book this place again!

Won't go again. The hallways and stairways were dirty. This is supposed to be a place for extended stays, with kitchen facilities in each room. Our kitchen had 2 pots, no cooking utensils, one spoon, 2 forks, 2 knives. No sharp knives for food prep, no cutting boards. The fridge froze our fruit. The temperature control didn't seem to work in it. The only food prep possible was something that was microwave ready. There was no dish detergent to wash things with.
