Perfect for us! I was coming from out of town to take care of my son who had to have surgery. He goes to school at UPS in Tacoma, Wa so we needed a place where we could stay....a dorm room was not an option. This hotel was perfect. The location was great and the staff was phenomenal! I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. Okay, so it doesn't have all the fancies of the Ritz, but I'm not about fancy...I'm about comfort and convenience.
Great customer service Our room was a little late being prepared for our arrival due to a housecleaning shift not showing up for work, and we had to go across the street for dinner while we waited for our room. But that was ok, not a big deal and they were so nice and apologetic about it. We were in town for a concert and the hotel staff offered to give us a ride to the concert venue and pick us up for our inconvenience. Friendly staff, close to transport and Tacoma Mall First room was noisy (suffering jetlag) so when I asked to change they were only too obliging and quickly changed me to other side of hotel. Rooms are dated and some smell of stale smoke from a previous era but all are very comfortable and include kitchens for self catering. Only downside is that no supermarkets close by but lots of eateries in the Mall. Very accessible to public transport to all main attractions and bus system cheap and easy to navigate around on. My stay was very nice.
Friendly service, convenient to Cheney Stadium We were impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the Extended Stay. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfy, and the location was close to an event we were attending at Cheney Stadium. My only complaint would be that there was not shampoo or a hair dryer in the bathroom, and the "free breakfast" was pretty skimpy. Still, it was a good value and perfect for our one-night stay.
Fine Room and staff were very good. The guests above us were awful running back and forth all night long- almost nonstop but that was not the hotel's fault. Had to call front desk once because they were jumping on furniture but then it was quiet. comfortable beds but the pillows sucked-foam that when you put your head on it went down to nothing but the bed was great!

get away We got away and it was nice to have the refrigerator and stove in the room. The bed seemed a little small for a queen and the sheets were scratchy. The upside was the grab and go breakfast. They had a good selection and the left it out for three and a half hours.
