No I get to stand outside! I reserved a smoking room. Ok so I know people are not smoking anymore but I am. When I expect to be able to sit in my room and smoke that is what I want to do.I did not find out that there were no more smoking rooms available until after we had checked in and gone to the room..... I look for an ashtray and then look and see the no smoking sign on the door. Great hotel for overnight stop in WIchita! Clean comfortable room in a quiet area easily accessible off KS Turnpike/I-35. The only thing I would fault is that the rooms still have small "old-fashioned" box TVs instead of flat-screens that are becoming more prevalent in hotels nowadays.
Confirm Reservation w/ Hotel Sooner please post reservation sooner. frustrating to make a reservation and when you get to the check in process they have no idea who you are even when i have a conformation number.
You get what you pay for You get what you pay for. There were multiple hotels that were available to rent, but I liked the convenience of having a kitchenette in the room. When I first entered into the room it was a little smelly (I'm a smoker), but it reeked of stale cigarettes. The hotel needs to get a better ventilation system. Overall, the room was comfortable enough otherwise I wouldn't of stayed for 4 days.
This hotel made me feel comfortable, welcome and important. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had every thing we needed for a restful nights sleep. The rooms were extremely clean and nicely decorated. Roomy and the bed was so comfortable. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone and plan to go back again for a longer stay.
