Don't rent here they will double your rent out of nowhere! Not notice at all. The initial rates They give are just to get you in.

They still stay open until 8 pm when extra space personnel are not there and no manager living on site . And they want their high price rent for that dump ! Got over robbed and still leaving the place opened for people to stay there and rob the place . Still waiting for my insurance for my damaged items not playing with this will choose other avenues if I have to so all extra space customers can also profit from it legally . Beware they will raise the cost of your rental unit without warning within *months* of your signing up. Is this even legal? They don't tell you that they'll raise your rent to "market rate" when they gladly take your money when you first rent a unit. Extra space storage is a huge scam!!! Nice manager and all, but when he didn't allow us upstairs to lock the unit cause it was after hours, he put his own lock on the unit. Three days later we open the unit to find our most expensive and precious items missing, It's outrageous. My computer , HomePod, etc. Shame on Extra Space for whatever role they had in this. Bunch of crooks. To be continued ....

THIS IS A COMPANYWIDE POLICY AND TACTIC SO IT AFFECTS ALL LOCATIONS, NOT JUST THE ONE I RENTED FROM. Do not rent from Extra Space Storage. 1. Hidden in their agreement is that they can (and do) raise your rent at any time. 2. After ONE MONTH at the advertised rate that I signed up for ($167/mo) they raised it by 50%!!! 3. Stay away from this Storage!!! My family and I purchased brand new bicycles in the beginning of the year and decided to rent a storage unit so they don't get stollen. Well that was the worse decision we made!!!. We only had 5 months renting a unit at this location and 4 out of 8 bicycles were stolen from our unit. The worse part is that the "main surveillance cameras" does not catch anyone walking out of the storage with 4 bicycles. Why have cameras then? The units in this place are fine, clean, well lit and easily accessible. They could definitely do with more carts as there's only four for the entire facility and sometimes you have to wait for one. The location is a bit sketchy as some other reviews mention, yes, usually some dodgy looking people hanging around outside but the gate and elevators are operated with a key code so I've never felt unsafe from those people. Absolute scam. They signed me up in April 2018 for $135 for a storage unit and the service agent assured me there would "small pricing increases over time." I checked my automatically billed credit card statement and since August 2018 they have without notice increased the fee to $280 - yes, they've doubled it. I called and the agent was extremely rude and said "we have every right to increase the rent it's in the agreement." So these guys tell you one thing and bury massive increases in the fine print.
