Awful. Break ins here, District Manager did nothing. Insurance did nothing. Corporate did nothing. Highly not recommended
I thought I'd found an upstanding resource where I could rest easy that 1) My things were safe and 2) the price was reasonable. I believe #1 is still true. My things are safe. They monitor who goes in and out, the lighting is good and the management checks on things. #2 isn't true. They signed me up for one price, then, in 5 months, put the price up by $50. They start you off at a low (if you call $120 low) and then raised the fee somehow to 144. I tried to make a partial payment to manage the account a bit better financially, they don't allow partial pay. (rude whilst telling you that as well). As you can tell from the other reviews, avoid this place at all cost. They are rude, lack business ethic and are just an overall mess. You are better off paying a family member to hold your stuff than these crooks.
Started renting in Aug 2012. A 5x5 unit at $100. Constant rent increases for no explained reason, and now up to $180. Even more than the advertised rate for new customers. How is this fair?
You can't be in the building after 8pm for absolutely no good reason. Then there's the fact that they keep jacking your rate. Sign up for $200 for you 10x15, and it won't be long before you're paying $250/month.

Thanks for the feedback. Our hours of operation vary depending on the location. We also occasionally need to raise our rent in order to keep up with costs related to maintaining a clean and secure facility for our customers.
Terrible experience. The storage space is nice, but the Management is horrible and the policies are not customer friendly.
Adding my negative experience to the chorus on here. Wish I'd checked Yelp before I signed up! just stopped by Extra Space to confirm the closing of our account, and my referral credit from a friend who opened an account here was never applied. Turns out my friend never got hers when I opened my own account, either! They have some stupid coupon policy and refuse to honor either referral, even though both myself and my referral mentioned these referral upon signup. Like other reviewers, I have had a very disappointing experience with the manager, Charlie Fox. He's either a complete idiot who doesn't understand the difference between "What is your corporate policy" and "Why do you have this corporate policy" or he's total jerk (possibly both). He hung up on me twice during a conversation where I was trying to understand a certain policy concerning payment. He just kept telling me "it's corporate policy" and that I didn't understand. Overpriced and beware hidden fees and rate increase after 5 months! Per other reviewers, the manager Charlie is smug and not helpful. The whole experience has been frustrating and their corporate policies seems to be to give you as little info as possible with very deceptive pricing structures.
