Excellent customer service, great space. I loved the management staff there, super friendly and answered any questions I had about the space. The space I rented out looked neat and tidy, contract was explained to me in detail, and I love how much security they have there. Having your own code for entry, the security guards, and plus the locks makes me feel incredibly happy and comfortable with my belongings being there.

I have had my storage unit for 2 months now. Here is my experience: Pros: - Clean: (I mean extremely clean) I don't know why the guy below said there were rat droppings but it seems from writing yelp reviews that he has other issues. The grounds have ALWAYS been clean whenever I stop by, which is about 1/week. - Professional: Melissa, the woman who works there is always above reproach. They have been great! Always cheerful, helpful, and easy to work with. Cost is very reasonable. Later then most access which has helped me a lot. I have no complaints and would highly recommend them for your storage needs.

The short: When you just have too much stuff and nowhere to put it you might need a storage locker. The long: Had a need to store some things for a little while during a move and trying to drag it up flights of stairs to sit for a few weeks then back down for the move. The staff was friendly and took me around to show the facility when I went to check it out. Showed me all the bells and whistles so that I knew my items were going to be secure. I have had my apartment in storage here for a year. The friendly staff at Extra Space is always professional and understanding. The units and grounds are clean and well kept.

I am a senior citizen and have been very disappointed with my experience at Extra Space Storage. My daughter previously rented a storage unit at this same facility for approximately four years under the same management and never experienced any payment or billing issues. However, after I rented a unit and prepaid for 12 months using a single credit card payment, I began receiving additional bills, rate increase notices, and even a lien notice before my prepaid term ended. Bait and switch warning! I've had a storage unit here for about a year. My first price increase happened within the first couple months. I spoke with the local manager and she helped out to get it lowered. I was told that the rate increases only happen once or twice every couple of years... They just sent me notice of a 3rd increase! My rate has tripled and I'm moving out. The local manager seems genuine but the corporate office keeps increasing the price and I'm tired of it. SAVE YOURSELF A FUTURE HEADACHE!

If i could leave negative stars i would. This place is full of scam artists. I have rented here less than three months and received a price increase of an additional $100 monthly!! I called and complained and the manager doesn't call back for shit. Finally got ahold of customer service where i was told my price would be lowered back SHE LIED! I called to complain again in which they said there was nothing more they could do i cancelled my account and my move out is scheduled next month on the 8th and they charged me now for ... read more

This place needs to be investigated. They are the most unscrupulous business I've ever dealt with. My rent nearly tripled in less than a year. The first price increase was only 3 months after moving in which more than doubled my rent. They cut that a little bit after I complained but forced me to pay the increased rent for a month before they would even discuss it.
