The worst storage facility Ive ever had. Absolutely no customer service, they use promo deals to get you in then raise your rate the very next month and every month after, they want you to fix their errors when they mess up, the staff is beyond rude to people if they are even around, no way to contact any upper management in a situation that needs fixing, their website doesnt let you leave reviews but have a bunch they used from before they switched to ExtraSpace ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS

Massive Price Hikes!Started at $164/month, as web price and just 4 months later after I moved all my belongings from the property I was living. Extra Space Storage hiked my rent to $244a 48% increase!This was not part of the agreement I signed!

I've been with this company for 2 years. In those 2 years I have been homeless. I stay paying my storage but if I fall behind, I have to always pay these crazy high a** fees and hope they don't auction off my belongings. Long story short, I started looking at other storage companies to compare prices for a 10x15 unit which they are currently charging me $350 a month for. Rent doubled after 4 months. I was told by the manager that that was the actual price but I just didn't read the contract well enough. They said they didn't need to tell me that at any point when they were selling me the space. Scam. Now I will have to spend my money and time to remove all my storage because I was deceived by this company.

Greedy is what E$$ is all about and they have strict corporate rules about moving out. First I was lied to about the size of the truck that could be used to access the ******************************************************** location. This cost me another $600 to finalize my long distance move with another carrier. My rent began at $98/month in December of 2023. Then after three months my rent increased by $90 to $188.00/month. I got an unit 10x10 for a very good deal online, first month things change a bit, from 87 to 103, ok, and know after 3 months, I was charged 203 bucks, this is insane. How can they do that? Its over the top, and they still offer great deals of the same space online, just like I got it. This is abusing, and trapping people who believe in this deals. I called and the answer is: we can do that any time we want to, you still having a good deal. Customer are being robbed by this company. We need help.

I rented a storage unit at a set price, 3month s later the price doubled. All the employee would say is we could go up at any time. I can see maybe a few dollars but not doubled. Also, when they gave me the rate, no one said we can go up at any time. I would not have used them if that was the case. His response to that is sometimes our new employees forget to tell you that. This is ridiculous. On top of it, they make sure you have no one to contact. Do better.

Consistently increasing rental prices with no justification! I had to call numerous times to inquire why the price is increasing when what was reflecting online was considerably lower - just for them magically to revert back to the original agreed upon rental price!Fluctuating and inconsistent information regarding the actual date that late fees are posted..late on the 12th but late fees added on the 15th?? Oh it was an awful experience. First off the prices changed. Then to top it off they had the wrong phone number so couldn't contact us to make payment. Which it was suppose to be on ACH. I'm so glad we removed all items. Wouldn't never come back or recommend anyone else this headache. ***** the manger over Lifestorage on *************** in ********** ** is not friendly to situations when her staff is truely the ones that drop the ball.
