Recently, I visited my storage unit and discovered rat droppings inside. I was about to add more items when another customer informed me that their unit was infested with rats. I went to my indoor unit, and the smell of urine was overpowering. Months prior, when I checked my storage, I saw a pile of feces, possibly from a cat, but I didn't think much of it. Manager, please do not advise the prospective renter that you are "certain" that your advertised 20' deep unit when it actually measured out to be only 18'6". In my case that was critical, as I had to scramble within hours to plead for a correctly size-stated unit at your comperitor's facility due my timeline.
This place is terrible. I just got a rate increase of $20 a month! That's on top of another big increase, and in less than 2 years. There are other review comments about extra charges and bait and switch. There's no excuse for such a big price increase, thiis place gouges you once you're in there. Avoid!
PLEASE NOTE THIS RATING IS ONLY FOR THE FACILITY LOCATED AT 1353 FLORIN ROAD. STAY AWAY! If I could give no star rating I would. This place is just bad business and unprofessional! It should be called EXTRA CHARGES SPACE STORAGE! Sure the first month is free! What they don't tell you till AFTER they run your credit card is that they charged you an "administration fee" plus insurance charges.
