Hey everyone if you are reading this you will notice a trend. A few months of a decent rate and then increase on a regular basis. All while still advertising much lower rates.

I HAVE HAD THE UNIT FOR A LITTLE OVER 2 YEARS, AND THE RATE HAS ALMOST DOUBLED. I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A NEW STORAGE FACILITY TO PUT MY MOTHERS THINGS. IT STARTED AT A LITTLE UNDER $100, NOW ITS OVER $170, PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW THAT IS JUSTIFIED. IF ANYONE ASKS ABOUT A STORAGE I TELL THEM ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE"

I was just informed, and only because I called to change my insurance, that there was a rate increase of $56 per month for my units. That is totally unprofessional, unethical, and not sure it’s legal since I have a binding contract for the rate I received when renting the units. For sure I’ll be looking into this and also finding another storage unit. Not OK to do to people Extra Space Storage!! Especially during a pandemic!!
