I am filing a complaint about the business practices of ************* **** I rented a storage unit 1 1/2 years ago for less than $50 I was hit with a price increase within 6 months I didn't complain until I moved to a larger unit for $170 received notice the rent kept going up until it was $300 I then moved to a cheaper unit for $80 now there is another increase to $140. Do not do business with this company.They advertise a low introductory internet price, but within months, the rate increasesand then it increases again shortly after that. Its a bait-and-switch tactic. When you try to reach someone to discuss it, you're given a phone number that goes nowhere. Meanwhile, they pretend to care by responding to reviews on ******, but it's all for show. Ive been renting from ES for over two years now and today I finally had it. They offer a web rate and then when you auto pay, they will start charging you a different rate after about 6 months completely random number. I locked into a unit in the beginning at 71 web rate, after 6 months they were going to charge $130 for the same small unit. Heres the kicker the web rate for the same unit at that time was $65 dollars! *********************************************** (*******)*********************************** Besides the fact that the price of the unit is constantly increasing, without explanation (from $145-$277) there is no guarantee of safety on the territory. My car was brutally vandalized and the manager refused to consider the crime. She deliberately hid the photos on the camera from me and said that it was not her business.

I prorated my unit on 5/17/25 at *********************, ** with a move out date of 5/31/25 once I flew down there from **, with the understanding that I would not be charged the monthly $532.16 storage fee on 6/1/25. I confirmed 2 days before my move out date, and received a Move Out Confirmation email. When I arrived at the unit, I spoke with their Facility Mngr, gave him my unit #****, at which time he wrote my unit# on a sheet. I rented a unit in ********, ** for 3 years, I moved out last Saturday and closed my account, cleaned out the unit, unfortunately four pieces of cardboard remained.The store manager reactivated my account WITHOUT MY PERMISION, and charged me $720.00 because the locker was not "clean". It took 5 days to return the overcharge.This caused checks to be returned and additional bank charges, his answer was too ****** WARNED, STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY

Ive had a very frustrating experience with this storage facility at ***********************************, and want to warn others before they sign upespecially if youre considering using auto pay.When I first rented my unit, everything seemed fine. But just 4 months in, the rent doubled without warning. Since I was on auto pay, I didnt catch it until I reviewed my statements. This place is price gouging and raising prices and if you dont negotiate with the manager they will cancel your payment and hold your belongings hostage. I have been renting there longer than the current manager. Im not a one month renter this is going on over years. They have tried to secretly raise my rent 2 times now by hundreds of dollars. Be safe out there people.

Watch out vendors/contractors!! I did a service for Extra Space Storage at this location back in December 2024 and until now they have not pay me. They always tell me that the check has been processed and I should have it in a couple of days or this week. But six months later still no checks.*************************************************************************************************
