I rented a storage and I received very good professional treatment. I don't plan to rent too long because yes, I can get a cheaper storage but it's convenient, very clean, they offer their own insurance and its secured. The transaction was quick and yes I will recommend them. :)

My wife and I moved from San Diego to Sacramento last month. We needed a 10x30 storage unit for 2 weeks while our new home was being finished up. We did not want to make a 1000+ mile round trip just to sign paperwork, so we called around to find a storage company that could handle this. My experience has been great Chis is such a crack up, he promised not to give my information out so that I would not get all those advertising calls, emails or mail. My unit was clean and every time I go there to pay my bill everyone is nice and professional and I am loving my clean garage, I can park my car in it. Ms. Sadler

I appreciate the clean storage units. I've used Extra Space Storage on a few occassions and my unit has always been clean when I checked into it. A positive is I've never found any rat droppings, insects, etc. The negative is that they draw you in with low prices and then every couple of months, there is a price increase. That is the main reason why I leave Extra Space. There shouldn't be a price increase every few months.

BEWARE!!! This review is for Extra Storage Space at 3800 Bayou Way 95835. Beware of using this storage place, they have mice(s) infestation and will not assist you other than saying " use your protection insurance." District Managers are disrespectful, and dismissive. They, continue to not be helpful but continue to tell you what they can't do. What started out as a $86 per month space was nearly $200 after 1.5 years. Crazy... had rodent droppings on my boxes so it wasn't pristine or anything. I'll find something elsewhere next time.

I called to check availability and had a very pleasant conversation with a woman (can't remember her name) over the phone. I was given a quote and told they could hold the reservation for 6 days until I was ready to move in. On the 5th day, I called and spoke to someone else to pay for the unit and setup the account. I was told that, not only was that unit no longer available, but the quoted price I was given was also no longer available. So the reservation was absolutely pointless. I wish I could give these thieves no stars !!!! Please Do not get a storage with them, they will raise your rent double at any moment. They want to keep your storage and they don't inform you the rent is going up. They are scammers I don't recommend any of their locations. Management is heartless and has no emotions for people situations, but That's what thieves do, kill steal and destroy . Horrible Company
