I NEVER write reviews...NEVER but PLEASE trust this review. The storage unit door was replaced. The company they hired DESTROYED some of my stuff; they literally threw it back in there like trash! DONT RENT FROM EXTRA SPACE. It took the manager 3 1/2 weeks to return my calls. I called repeatedly for a week straight. Then she says there is NOTHING they can do other than offer me $25 off my next month's rent. you just increase my price out of nowhere from 100 to 156.00 56% increase and from 100 to 147.00 47% increase. that increase of 113% on 2 units. that what i call a scam . do used them use someone else. this location is on rittaman and harry wurzbach of san antonio tx.

They will increase prices out of no where. Horrible customer services and reluctant to do any unit repairs; overall will not recommend. Communication is based on Utah which makes the process horrible.

This company is scandalous! DO NOT! ......I repeat DO NOT Store anything with Extra Space Storage. Do yourself a favor and find a company that will be more professional and honest in the way they do business. This was a nice place long before they put that Green sign up. No points scored for their tidiness. I've had this unit for over 2 years and now pay 50% more for the unit than when it was the previous company. I will never do business with this company again! Yes, it's a nice facility; very clean, easy to access, and climate-controlled. However, I've only had a storage unit here for three months and I just got a notice in the mail stating that my "promotional rate" has ended and that my monthly price will be increasing. The storage unit is clean and easy to access. However, your rate is only locked in for a few month and will increase as they so choose. My rate went up $32 because that was the going rate for the unused units. Other companies will just charge you for a year or 6 month contract at the same rate. Extra space is only good for short term storage.

Been at this location for at least 3 years. They continue to increase the rate. Staff doesn't have a clue why payments go thru sometimes and not other times. I've had my unit get 2 roaches because of people living in the units and bringing in dirty infested items. I've also been accused of bringing in roaches even though I'm at my unit monthly and clean out my totes and bags. This place is a straight rip off!!! In the beginning you pay a low move-in but each month the payment of the storage shelter increases drastically. How do I go to monthly fee of more than $200 per month for a small storage space? When I called I was informed the fee changes month to month base off market rates...Straight BS for an answer. And then when I decide to cancel prior to the end of the month, the clerk tells me that we can lower your move out cost to $190 with me moving out with 10 days left.
