The personell is nice and friendly, but as everyone else is mentioning... Just get ready to be doubled the price on your initial quote. The web price is not because its done from the web, it will be raised anyways.

The price more than doubled after 3 months. Also the entire storage facility stinks like fresh cigarettes and makes everything in your storage smell like an ashtray. Luckily I didn't move much stuff in before the price raise because I called 2 other storage facilities in the area and they told me they have units the same size I rent and will have a locked in price that doesn't fluctuate randomly whenever the company feels like it. Here is an update: The space and facilities are fine and Joan at the front desk was very kind and helpful however, since my first review, I've learned that the business practice of the home company is horrible. If you need storage space, there are plenty in the area to choose from, but I'd stay away from Extra Space. They don't care about their customers' needs, at all. I timely paid almost $200 per month for a small storage unit for FOUR years (they increased the price every year), without so much as visiting the premises or making any requests of the business. Good location, clean building and decent prices at first. There are better prices in the surrounding area and they know this so be aware that they will increase the rate a few months into you being moved in. They offer deals that sound appealing just to get you in the door but the rate will fluctuate since it's month to month. Sneaky.
I do not have a problem recommending this storage facility for short term use. The facilities are clean and well run and accessible at most hours. The problem with this storage facility is the same as with all the storage companies in the nearby area -- if you want to use it for longer term storage. There is an initial "come-on" price to get you to take the deal and once you're in the rent raises are unbelievable. In a recession economy over the past 3 years our rate went up 30%. Horrible customer service, very inflexible don't asked for "the manager" Janet, cause she is the worst, no courtesy of any kind.
