I can't believe this place only has 3 stars... I was absolutely amazed by the kindness and the above and beyond service I was given. The gentleman that helped me move into my unit actually HELPED! He saw I was moving out and physically helped me move a few things. While he was helping someone else! Love this place and if I ever need a place to stor r my things again I will be coming here

Honest professionalism & adequate customer service at the very least!!! Gave me a unit inside (not desired) 2nd floor (nd). $313....3 months later, $100 increase! No notice in app-email-or text...."we mailed a postcard"!!!! I moved out! They aren't even decent enough to credit the over contract amount!!! Horrible. Same size unit across town $140

Started with a decent rate. Then they upped the charge, then again. I called, they lowered the price, then a little bit later, it's increased again. Finally after paying $122 for way too long, I went and moved my stuff out. Then, I went to their website to see the prices for my size unit, 5X5. Guess what they're charging now?? Less than $100!! Be careful!!! they will lure you in with a online promotion rate then after you move in 3 months later they will jack your rate up $50. Promo online was $49.99 with $21 insurance for a total of $71 a month. I was only there for 2 months and got a lett in mail that my new payment would be $120 a month. I moved out the same day. They will give a good rate to get you in then jack it up in hopes people will just stay and not have to deal with moving out again. These guys are scams!!

This is a bait and switch operation. I placed my car in storage there at a reasonable rate, then after a few months they doubled it. When I called to ask about that, they said the fine print I signed off on allows them to raise the rate whenever they want. When I left the car there I told them it would be for about 8 months, and they never mentioned anything about a rate increase. Disgusting!

You will notice that I only do 5 star and positive reviews and that I take this process quite sincerely. My reviews on Google have been viewed over 30,000 time. It seems better to simply ignore companies that do poor work. However, in this case, I have to warn customers that Extra Space Storage is a place to avoid. If I could give zero stars I would. We were suckered into renting a space with a low move in price. Once you already have all your stuff stored they raise your rent. They don't even wait a year to raise your rates. Storage rates are raised every 9 months and the insurance that you are required to buy is raised as well every 9 months. This is funny I wrote a review two weeks ago & told the truth now the manager is trying to black ball me from any storage company in Sonoma county that just adds more to my legal situation with this company I would not use this company there are many other company's out there

They shouldn't even get a single star. There are to many issues to list over the past three years I've stored my stuff there. I would suggest a different storage company.
