I rented a unit less than three months ago. I just received a notice today that they are raising my rent 20% (to over $400). Ridiculous! I'll be moving out faster than I moved in. I'll be sure to bring my own cart since they only seem to have one or two in each building.

The San Pedro location is not good to deal with, in my experience. You'd be better off elsewhere. They raise the rent considerably without notice- the information they claim is "mailed out" is not received, the employees are just rude and condescending, the hours inconvenient. No way to contact management-you're forced through a phone loop of contacting the very employees you may be trying to complaint about, with no recourse. This place is kind of shady. I wouldn't use them. I've used them before got stuff stolen out of my storage unit

I was a customer for 12 years and it went from $200 to $300. The new management can't keep rolling carts available for customers. They won't buy more carts because the new manager said the customers will just hide them. Customer service went down and prices went up, so I finally emptied my storage unit.

They're rent prices keep getting raised without any notice. I would not recommend to use place
i work construction and store my tools here cos i dont have a garage,on weekdays u dont open until 930 am i leave for work at 6am to work in the valley so bassically i cant get my tools ,if i get em night before they can be stolen out of my truck ,you really need to allow us access by 6 or 630 am during the week ,if it doesnt change FAST i will be gone ,terrible gate times i am pisssed mini pac wass way better ,been here for 10 years im so dissapointed with the new management
This facility used to be managed by Mini PAC. The management of facility recently changed to be extra space storage. Ever since the change in management, the customer service has been horrible. They have reduced operating hours to the point you have virtually no access to your storage unit and the people working there are rude and inflexible.
