HUGE UNANNOUNCED RENT INCREASES ARE THE WAY THEY MAKE MONEY. Do not rent from Extra Space Storage. 1. Hidden in their agreement is that they can (and do) raise your rent at any time. 2. After ONE MONTH at the advertised rate that I signed up for ($167/mo) they raised it by 50%!!! 3. Without notice!!! 4. Only when I called them on this did they agree to a PARTIAL refund, and would not guarantee future increases would not happen. 5. Ever since Extra Storage took over this place has gone down the trash. My rent was raised almost $100 for a tiny room, the hours are now shorter when they use to be open from about 7-7p. Now it's office hours. 9-5. This will be my last month with them. It really sucks because I loved this place before they took over.

This place deserves 0 stars. I've been a client of this storage facility for 20+ years. Always paid my rent on time and had a good relationship with the previous management. Since Extra Space Storage took over the business the service has gone way down and prices way up. I have a small storage unit that I used to pay $104/month for. Rent raises used to be 2-3% every other year. This year, now that Extra Space Storage has taken over, they raised the rent almost 80%. It went from $104 to $181!
