I called to confirm the hours someone would be on the premises today. I also was told the lock on my unit had been removed. That was Sunday. I went on Tuesday, with a friend who brought his truck to help move out, but the door was still locked. My friend drove over an hour to come and now the same back. RATS. Need I say more... after I filed a complaint they didn't offer any help, but instead said that pest control would visit the facility at some point, but no guarantee as to when. I had to clean rat feces and urine off all of my things only to come back the next day and do it all over again. Dark unit. Holes in the wall. Spiders and spiderwebs. Horrible overall experience.. got out of there and found a new storage company to use.

RATS. need I say more... when I filed a complaint they didn't offer any help, they just told me pest control would come out at some point with no guarantee as to when. I had to clean feces and urine off all my belongings only to come back the next day and do it all over again. Moved out of this complex and using another storage company now. Horrible overall experience.

December 30, 2024 | received this injury due to this protruding foot-long piece of metal Sticking from the wall around a blind corner. I asked for a Band-Aid in the front office, and was scoffed at. "We don't give customers bandaids. Do you think we're a Pharmacy?" I had to go to the emergency room, Had to get a tetanus shot, Had to go on antibiotics, missed two weeks of work, and now six weeks later have a lifelong scar. Extra Space storage? NOT SECURE! Do not use. my unit broken into and valuable items stolen. My lock then replaced with facilities lock with green sticker indicating it was authorized. looks like inside job . attendants refused to file report and would not connect me with manager .

i had my unit for 10-12 years. originally a family owned business with caring personnel. family cashed out and unfortunately sold it to Extra Storage Space. Corporate greed disguised as "market value" kicked in immediately and before you knew it there were 3 price increases, even before updating the facility. long time personnel gone over night because they were probably offered a pay decrease - big shoutout to DANITA - hope you are well! i understand capitalism but it's breaking backs left and right...

I have been at this storage space for three years. They used to be privately owned. When they were, someone was always there, things always worked but then when they sold - the lifts are often broken, doors are always locked due to lack of employees being there. One time I had to go get items from my unit for a shoot and I couldn't access my unit due to the drive way being repaved - which they never sent a notice to their tenants about this happening to give us a heads up. Their hours aren't as listed on gate. I have shown up twice before the gate closes and someone on the buzzer says "sorry, gates closed" and then when I ask another question asking about hours they don't respond. Rude. What are the actual hours I can access my storage unit?

Make your own decisions based on this. I rented in November. Space was a 4x4 Rent was $66. On day of signing the employee switched my rate from the advetised $66 to $83 never saying a word. When I caught it and asked she offered this: " that's only if you do auto withdrawal. " I rolled with it, giving the benefit of the doubt, had her change it back and put my account on autopay.
