Nice clean facility in central PA (great location with easy access to major PA highways, airport and Amtrak service) with excellent customer service. Pricing is competitive and we are very pleased to have found this for storing our household goods and vehicle
I was very satisfied with my first encounter and thereafter with the process to sign on, the manager Ashley took her time to explain the policy. Very professional and friendly person, helping me to understand the contract and cost.
I was trying to decide on what size we unit to get and the office staff was a great help with making that decision

Just rented a space at *** *** *** in Round Rock, TX. The "leasing" service - don't remember his name was very helpful. Tracy - the lady at the storage facility was exceptional. So pleasant and helpful. She picked up my day with her attitude which is important when going thru the hell of moving. ***** ********
Zero stars would be more appropriate. I was just at my storage unit in ********* and the second I got out of the you can just smell the mold in the air its damp. My furniture is ruined and not replaceable as it is from the 70s. The upkeep is terrible. One of the garage doors is broken with a note saying you have to hold the button up. Enter back into the building hold the button down to close the door. Its been there for at least 2 to 3 weeks. The lawn landscape is completely overgrown. I originally rented through life storage they were bought out by extra space storage I believe I've been with them over 10 years. in 2023 I had two units that they increased the price by $75 for each unit without notifying me first I called to complain. Each year since 2023 it has gone up $100 last year it went up in November again by $100 however this time they chose to increase the price halfway through the year and charge me another additional $80. SUE THEM - READ CAREFULLY....Make sure you READ the full contract with this company. Each location is privately owned. They all have 'different rules.' If they auctioned your things - make SURE they did what 'they were supposed to do' otherwise - sue them, and get your funds back. Don't let this filthy company use scare tactics with you.
Review of Extra Space Storage *********************************************** two major incidents within the first few weeks of renting this facility, I feel obligated to warn other customers.The most recent incident occurred today. The freight lift, which has been unreliable since I rented the unit, failed completely. Previously, the only way to make it move was for someone to physically hold the door while it ascended. Today it would not operate at all.The only luggage cart for the facility was trapped inside the elevator.... read more
