We are new residents from out of state… we have been in our beautiful 3 bedroom unit for 2 days… unfortunately we have contacted the emergency maintenance line for 2 days regarding our AC unit. Our unit is and has been 85 degrees for 2 days. My asthma is now crippling and my health is deteriorating due to the climate in our new home. Problems from the beginning, too many to list. I was moved into a dirty apartment (paint splatter, dirty carpet, broken items , internet down) and they had zero staff/maintenance. The customer service and extra fees are over the top. I cannot wait to end my lease here!

While I have no complaints regarding their ability to manage property I do have a complaint about their maintenance department. Apparently they can fix our neighbors siding, but not our dryer vent that has a bird nest inside of it. Not only does our dryer not produce any heat as a result, but it now becomes a fire hazard. I should mention that we live in a duplex. We have not been able to use the dryer for almost 10 days with no communication from Fairlawn advising when they will come and take care of the issue.

Terrible. The communication is bad. They do not get back with you they do not care about the troubles you are having. The people they hire are very rude and impatient. I will never rent an apartment through fairlawn again.

Spring 2020: My boyfriend lives in Champaign House aka "Lincolnshire West". They recently went up on the rent for his unit from $650 to $875! I've lived in multiple apartments, rented a house, and now pay a mortgage...all less expensive than this! In addition to this drastic change, he has always paid on time (I go with him to drop off the money orders), but one of the managers recently tried to claim he has been late paying rent. I had lived at Garden Pointe Apartments in Indianapolis, IN for three years and they are by far the worst management I have seen there. I have extensive mold on and in my walls and electrical issues in my bedroom and bathroom most likely caused by the water damage in the walls that is causing the mold. I have moved out because of the horrible state and lack of communication. They have ignored my emails and multiple calls. The lady in the office even ignored the attempts to turn in my keys. Rude management. You cannot ever get through to maintenance or the office when you need them. Also they left me without hot water for 6 days and refused to answer when they would get it fixed. The maintenance line also blocked me from being able to call their number. They never answer your calls and emails. Do not move here. The apartment is in horrible condition it stinks really bad ... Also they are slumlords. They painted over their old dirty bathtub with some cheap paint and within a week after I moved in it started pee... read more

They consistently fail to take care of their tennant's. I've lived at Garden Point for all of their management and it is nearly impossible to speak to one of their representatives as the clubhouse or at fairlawn. They obviously value profit over their customers. I've contacted the health department and they still refuse to fix basic security doors for nearly 8 months now. Please heed my warning and do not live in one of their properties.

this is a company that takes a hands-off approach to everything they use call centers and when you show up to their office to address payment fraud they refused to help you unless it's by email due to being afraid of a lawsuit. in addition to poor office management the maintenance department is garbage I had two different maintenance men come out to address a brand new window air conditioning being clogged they preceded by drilling holes in the bottom of the air conditioner which destroyed the AC.I told them that I'm allergi... read more
