You should update your open table schedule as this restaurant opens at 5:30 pm. We made a reservation for 5:00 pm and had to wait for doors to open. You should not have to stand around for 30 minutes. Open table should have the proper info.
Had to wait 1 hour after my reservation and only then after complaining did we get a table. The hostess gave our table away to people who came after us. They did not honor our reservation time. Would only go back again because the Maître d was nice
We had tried Farradday's before. That time, the service was VERY slow, but the food was pretty good (albeit not nearly as good as other high-end steakhouses. We decided to give it another chance. Bad move. The service was even worse this time, and the food was just decent. Certainly not what you'd expect from a restaurant serving $40 steaks, etc. They must only survive because they're inside a casino. If they were a standalone restaurant, they'd fail.
Make sure you have 2 hours because it is very slow to get a drink and then to take your order. Food comes out pretty fast after that.
THe veal which was part of their Christmas special was the toughest piece of meat I ever had. I could not cut it with the steak knife that they gave me. My husband had the turkey and he always loves turkey but he could hardly get it down. The only thing good was the soup and the bread. I will not be back very disappointing.
We went for our 22nd wedding anniversary. Our server Melissa was very nice and attentive. We really liked her, however the food was below average. My prime rib had more fat than meat on it. My wife had surf and turf. She said the filet was dry and her lobster was "rubbery". I also had asparagus with hollandaise sauce. The asparagus tasted burnt and the hollandaise sauce was bland. The side salad was very good and the complimentary dessert was also really good. Based on the main course being sub par, we will not return.
I have always liked Farradays; especially for special occasions. This is the first time we chose an 8PM seating. Sorry we did. The food was awlful and it was only surf and turf. The filet mignon was dried out and seemed to be double broiled. I would guess it was par cooked earlier and then they heated up on grill a second time which made it have an ugly dry crust and the meat was not moist at all for medium. The lobster tail was fine. The absolute worst dining experience we ever had. From start to finish. The service was terrible. We asked to speak to the manager (Domonique) and not only did he not care but he was extremely rude and insulting. We like to go out for a nice dinner every Saturday night and this place is a complete disaster.
This place has potiential. It's halfway there. Service is grand but food is not. They fall short on the small stuff that makes a difference and veggie portions are way to small. Great atmosphere. Need new head chef!
