This was second time at this restaurant. First time my comment was, "nice restaurant but don't order steak". So this time I figured I'd give them a second chance. First time we had the wet aged steaks (less expensive), so this time we ordered prime filet mignon and KC strip. The filet was good but the strip was over done (ordered med-rare). We went for birthday dinner and a casino employee who should have been at another location in the isle was banging on the piano. Not playing. And engaging the hostess in chitchat while the matrd was talking to regulars. Unless you want to overpay or u just won on a slot. This is not the place for a younger couple. It's always elderly people and business men. Food is great servers are great. But do you want to listen to a bunch of bored employees chit chatting. So wrong.
We have dined here several times. The last time we went we said that would be the last time. We decided to give them another chance, since anyone can have an off night. We will not be returning. To start we waited 15 minutes to valet, not the fault of Farradays, The onion soup was very good, thought a bit salty. We both had the Prime rib, it was not great. Steak was over cook then under cook when ordered medium rare. Lamb chops was burnt.
We both ordered steaks and both were overcooked. They have a USDA Choice and USDA Prime. Neither one of us are the type to complain and we didn't. We both ordered medium rare and steaks were closer to medium well. We both ordered the PRIME and both steaks were firm and dry. Must have been Choice and NOT Prime but we paid for Prime! Bartended messed up my drink 3 times. The food was all over cooked and my fish was soggy. The hostess was having to bus tables and it wasn't even busy. The staff was nice but needed training to be paying that kind of prices for food.
Save your time and money. The food quality and taste will disappoint.
I was more disappointed in this meal than in prior times. Both myself and business partner are on diets and must minimize carbs. We ordered steak and salmon dishes. The sides were either potatoes or rice. The vegetable was squash with some fattening jam. We asked for just some plain green vegetable instead. We were brought broccoli (that had very mushy with so much garlic we couldn't eat it). When the check came I saw we were each charged $3.50. I questioned the waiter but he did nothing. Shame on you guys.
Was not greeted by waitress. Almost choked on the oyster--terrible! Same with the sweetbread terrible
