Went in to check if me and my daughter had the flu. But they told me it's was going to be a 3 hour wait, when theirs only 3 people in the waiting room. so we walked out.
Went to the one lenoir and all the people in there coughing and saying their throats hurt didn't even have masks on. Any other urgent care places will ask if you have flu symptoms or coughing and they will tell you to put a mask on. But not these. I walked out.
long wait been here over an hour and half wait.. to ask when going back said next person.. wait another 30 minutes this is crazy and only one other person in waiting area
I had to visit Fast Med on Dec 23. I had the early stages of shingles. I was seen by the Dr. approx 5 min and she stood 10 feet away from me at all times all the while saying "no your not contagious". She wrote a script and they changed ME 200.00, not sure what insurance paid. Terrible
I had no complaints about my visit. Everyone seemed nice and friendly. Was only charged a $25 copay. 3 weeks later with no notification they drafted $171 and some change out of my bank account without my permission. Not cool. Will likely look for another urgent care in the future because this seems like a shady practice.
My boyfriend took me here the day after Christmas because I thought I had strep and he had just previously had it. The doctor (Harvey Colley) was a total A-hole and refused to strep test me or flu test. He also told me my throat wasn’t even red and I just had a cold. Pulled up symptoms on a computer and asked if I had them I said yes all of them and he said “around here we like to call that a common cold”. My son visited here last August. It has been a nightmare ever since. He came here because his face was swollen and he had an abcess. It was after hours so no other option but urgent care or er to get antibiotics started. He was there maybe 10 minutes, got prescribed antibiotics and was on his way. Well this place decided to bill the insurance as a dental procedure knowing full well they aren't dentist. The insurance won't cover because they aren't an in network dentist. Just went because I think I have the flu and was turned away because "there's one ahead of you and we close in 40 minutes." So now I'm at home in bed waiting to get better.
Terrible! Waited over an hour to see a doctor. Saw Harvey Colley on 9/26. Told him I started feeling my symptoms on Friday. He put Wednesday as my symptom start date. He was rude and had a horrible bedside manner. I'm allergic to amoxicillin and augmintion. He asked "what's the difference?" I thought he was referring to my reactions. No, he said he meant what's the difference in the meds and explained that they were synthetic penicillin.
