They need to update their website. Their website states they take walk-ins. I get their at 7:30 am to be the first in person at 8 am. They did not open door until 8:05 am. Then they tell me I have to have an appointment to be seen. They were booked today and next appointment is not until Saturday. I came there because I need Urgent Care. This could have been prevented if their website was updated.
Called Monday to schedule an appointment for Covid test on Saturday because it's required for my upcoming travel. Appointment scheduled for 8:45 am. Get a text the morning of my appointment around 7 AM saying my appointment is canceled, no explanation given. I try to call and the message says they are temporarily closed. Why schedule an appointment if they're going to be closed. The note in MyChart says I left without being seen but the note was posted before my scheduled appointment time
Went to get a sports physical for my daughter, I looked online and read the fine print about walkins for physicals went up to get it done and they told me they can’t do it all while nobody was waiting to be seen. First try was 6:30pm the night before (I get that) but second try was 8:00 am. I work in a dr office that takes walkins I know how that process works. I have been denied twice a service that is quick simple and not to mention an out of pocket exam. Shame on fastmed. Patient beware, their website lies is what I was e... read more
If there were a worse rating than 1 star I would give it. My girlfriend was recently diagnosed as being covid positive - @ Fastmed - To frame this, she was diagnosed on Friday Jan. 14 2022 - Today's date is Sunday Jan. 16 2022 - She is at home resting - fighting covid symptoms - she has researched and found their is an infusion treatment that she can get - however to get locally she needs a referral - Since they tested her, I went there for the referral - The Dr there or "Provider" as the front desk attendant referred to her... read more
First I am not one to blast anyone or even a business on FB it is not the place to handle these things, but I all in good conscious could not say anything. But I first would like to brag about poison control and ER department at Cape Fear. They both have called numerous times to check on us. Cape Fear gave me hourly updates on him when he was in the ER and helped with paperwork after. Poison Control called every other day and even helped answer questions, told doctors to call them if they have questions regarding the bite. ... read more
Went to the Urgent Care because they have said they do labs. Those labs they do only are for STDs, I didn't need those labs - so I left with a suggestion of becoming a patient of the PA and I'm positive my insurance was charged to the Max for NOTHING! 🙄
I have never been treated so poorly at a doctor’s office in my life. Amy Henkel is a joke of a Nurse Practitioner. She was anything but kind to me and made me cry. She didn’t try and apologize either for what she had done to me. I felt embarrassed and degraded. I am reporting her to the NC Nursing Board. They advertise “Compassionate Hospitality” on their website and I received the exact opposite. I sat in the waiting for an hour and a half just to be treated like trash. I cannot believe they are getting away with treating p... read more
Be careful they will tell you your visit is covered by insurance then send you a bill 5 months later.
Checked in around 3:25 didn’t get pulled to the back until 4:40. After taking samples for my test I sat for over two hours for something that should’ve took less than thirty minutes. They also told me I couldn’t receive my results over the phone until I’ve been seen by their care provider. Extremely slow and didn’t see them clean a thing. On the bright side the receptionist were top notch and the young lady taking vitals.
