This restaurant is purely for the experience and not the food. You get to pick the food whether it's noodles or a burger, then the sauce you want in it, then the meat or seafood. It's an open kitchen concept, a couple of cooks around a massive circular stove, you walk up, hand them your food and they finish cooking it for you. There's no special extra ingredients or style of cooking, you just give them what you have and they lay it on the stove and cook it for you. The food is mediocre at best. The staff is very friendly and... read more
Overall, good experience, upbeat, fun. Recommendations: Need Bak Choy. Better explanation of sauces
It is hard not to enjoy Fire and Ice in Boston. We went for their Sunday brunch and were really quite entertained...the grill was busy...with choices of breakfast foods (crepes, pancakes, sweet buns, bacon, etc.) to the eclectic recipes being created by each patron. If you are going for a quiet, romantic location - than pick again...but if you are into having a bit of fun and adventure with your food choices...then you can't miss here.
I've been several times before on college nights with friends because it's cheaper and a great place to go with a group. Last time I went with my boyfriend who had never been before. My first time going I was confused how everything worked, but our waiter was helpful and explained to him how everything worked clearly. The food is always amazing and you get to pick what you want completely. If for some reason you don't like the plate you came up with you can always just go back and try something else. There is a loud atmosphe... read more
Come on an empty stomach, because you will definitely want to try any and everything you can. This is a really great spot for groups and celebrations, as the experience is a lot of fun. Service is a bit slow and could be more attentive, but that is not why you come to a place like this.
For the bill to come out to $96 between 4 people is not to bad. I loved the food and enjoyed everything Bout it
This place is loud and boisterous, and good for groups of teens who want a night out at a fixed price. Food is 'eh', but it's all you can eat, and it's not about the food, it's about a place where a bunch of young people can have a good time, talk loud, dress up a little maybe, and end up spending $20 a head for everything.
Like the friendly atmosphere and the friendly cooks. The drinks needed a little more of a kick.
Food selection, cooks, waiter and meal were all great! My mix of fresh veggies and fish were cooked perfect! Music was fun but a little too loud for my taste.
