Food was so good. Atmosphere nice but a little dark lighting for My taste... and service was great!
I went to 54 for the first time yesterday, and loved it! We had some drinks and shared several appetizers, which were delicious! The best part of the experience though, was the service! Our waiter, Josh, was amazing! He checked on us often, and was so personable and funny! We will definitely be returning to 54...and hope that Josh is working!
Good place to get food and drinks. Gets busy at happy hour and parking lot gets packed. Chuy is next door so that parking lot was full.
Great location; excellent decor; helpful and happy staff; great tasting food! Prices are more than I like to pay on a regular basis!
This was a win for my crew. Our server (Alex) was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. She was quick and efficient with service. I was excited to see strawberries for the kiddos on the menu ( my son is a strawberry fien!). Everything from Start to finish was fresh and tasty, loved the gringo dip. parking lot : plenty ambience : sport bar - dining vibe food : 9/10 I was obsessed with their thai dressing salad, truly good Their crab cakes is super yummy, full of real crab meat. The artichoke pasta was creamy and delicious as well. Server was funny and honest about her food recs.
I was pleasantly surprised with Five Four restaurant in the South Park Meadows shopping area. We visited for happy hour on a Tuesday (HH ends at 6). You can sit in the main restaurant or the bar area and still get HH. They have some big screen TVs in the bar area that would be great for a game day. It is so nice to see new restaurants in South Austin. This is a nice addition. The food is good, menu extensive, and the drinks appear to equally impressive. Missing is the level of service. The hostesses failed to acknowledge our presence for a period of time. Our server appeared to be poorly trained. There was little follow up other than putting food on the table. We were in mid-afternoon on a Sunday. It felt like the B team was working. We will return and hope for a bit of improvement.
