Waiter was friendly, patience and always check on us to see how was our food. Our food weren't bad, fries taste better than waffle, I had little appretize one if they had cheese mozzarellas. I had Reuben sandwich, good taste!! But I didn't like margarita very sour.

I've eaten here twice in the last week. Both times the food was delicious. The first time I had the chicken fried chicken lunch special. It was a chicken breast, breaded and fried rather than pieces of chicken. But it was well done and moist when I've been into it. The mashed potatoes were covered with a peppery white gravy. I also had the bbq beans as a side, which were well executed. Also had a strawberry margarita that was pretty good as well. The server I had this time hadn't quite adapted to the technology they we... read more

Chili's for people who look down at people who go to Chili's. Inoffensive, consistent, decent quality. I like the limeades though!

54th Street Grill is a chain following the formula of a Chili's or a BJ's Brewhouse. Chili's has completely fallen apart on every possible measure of quality. This allows a lot of space for competitors to move in. 54th Street Grill is making the most of this. BJ's has not at all fallen apart ... But the BJ's in the Austin area are few and far between. The one I went to was far below the standards of BJ's nationally. So there is totally room for a good national bar and grill chain to claim space for itself in the Aust... read more

Terrible food, terrible service. Party of seven, went to celebrate 2 birthdays! Some of us ordered coffee - they were out after the first cup, a restaurant that runs out of coffee, how does that happen? Some ordered margaritas, could not drink them. No one enjoyed their meals, the only good and edible items were the waffle fries and fried pickles. We saw the waitperson when taking our order and delivering food. We were never asked if we needed anything else. Since we could not drink anything water would have been nice. When ... read more

Business response:

We apologize for falling short of your expectations during what should have been a special birthday celebration. There is no excuse for running out of coffee during dinner service, and we sincerely apologize for this oversight. As a nearly 100% scratch kitchen, we take pride in our food quality, and it's clear we failed to deliver that evening. We're also deeply sorry about the poor service you experienced - our team should have been attentive throughout your visit, not distracted by their phones. Your experience is complete... read more

Came for Veterans Day and ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes and the Mac cheese were room temperature. Only the chicken was hot. Doubt I'll be back.

Business response:

We apologize for any inconvenience, Bill. There is no excuse for cold food and we will look into what happened with your mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. We want every guest to have a great experience, and we clearly fell short during your Veterans Day visit. Please visit www.54th.net/contact so we may reach out to discuss further.

We sat for 15 min and no one came to see us for drinks or food. I saw at least 4 servers at the bar watching football. Another server went to see a table for 2 that was near us. She knew them because she ate some of their nachos and stood to chat. We were in the patio area. I went to the Hostess desk and told her we were leaving and why with a few choice words I told her to share with the Manager. Not the hostess's fault, I expressed my feelings to her.

Business response:

Sorry for any inconvenience with the service delays! There is absolutely no excuse for this type of service including the eating off someone's plate. We take this very seriously and your experience matters to us. Please contact us at www.54th.net/contact to discuss further.
