Scheduled to have leaking window repaired on October 12th, with no specific time window given. Called the company at 10am asking if they can give me an idea when they might show up. Told I was next job- probably around 12pm. OK...hours pass...at 3pm I call them back and ask what the deal is. They tell me the previous job ran late, they will have the project manager call me. First problem was that carpenter arrived at my home to replace post on front porch without giving me sufficient advance notice as requested. I calledThe Carpentry and Painting Experts, LLC to receive a quote to have my exterior fence cleaned and re stained. Martin came out on 9/26/14 to give me a quote, and being pleased with the quote I received, I wrote a deposit check for $375. This check was chased and processed on 9/29/14. As the1st week went by, I called Wednesday to speak with Martin, and he was unable to give me a copy of the contract. Had an appointment with this vendor on 8/22 at 8am to get an estimate for interior paiting. Vendor did not show up for appointment and did not call until 2pm that afternoon to let me know they had a scheduling conflict that morning. Decided to give them a second chance and set up an appointment for 9am on 8/30. Vendor called at 9:20 to say he would be at my house in about 20 minutes, thus making his arrival at 9:40, which was 40 minutes after our scheduledappointment time. unknown They repaired areas on house that had rotting problems before painting the house. Had disagreements from the get go with company. Was not aware of box on contract. They had all the paint mixed before we got to put in our request (because box had a check in it on the contract) Watch out for that! We needed them to do a second coat over the completed house as it looked spotty (and it was white on white!) They took a list of everything that I wanted done and he said he was gonna email me the list. I got an estimate from The Carpentry & Painting Experts, LLC to work on our porch, power wash the walkway and fix out bathroom. He also looked into fixing the windows latches.
This provider had a contract but, it was not a detailed contract. The items to be repaired were not listed on the contract. There was only verbal discussion about the work to be done. The contract did not provide ample recourse to the customer in case of problems with the workmanship. Did not use this provider.

I am surprised to see that anyone takes an issue with how detailed our proposals are. We have a proprietary software built for our company for the purpose of creating detailed estimates without any ambiguity. We have never had anyone take an issue with that before. The proposal always shows the exact count of items of each type to be replaced and the location on the house. I wish there was an option to upload the proposal in my response. quoted and not refunded for damages or work not done... Painter was one girl, from Russia and she could not talk to me. Spanish guy did the plaster and he also could not speak to me. Drywall crew is the one who keeps trying to patch and get me to buy his paint. Overall- calling for quotes today to have it torn out and installed as it should be They have not tried to make this job right only to patch what was to be a new wall now is full of patchwork.
