. I had a bunch of carpentry and outdoor painting projects, here and there. Replacing some boards on my deck and painting that and house trim. They sent separate people to do the different type of work, rather than one jack-of-all-trades, which I did like, everyone was prompt and courteous, and cleaned up thoroughly as is they were never there. I would definitely call them again.

I received an excellent value from this company for services rendered, and found them fairly easy to work with overall. Although I started off skeptical, I ended up impressed. Work was done well by 2 employees and cleaned up after job was completed. Replaced 5 boards and framed a hotub. I would have given the company some additional work totaling around$ 500.00 more in fees if the estimator had not waited 5 days to return my phone call.I used another contractor to perform the additional work.

. The crews were always prompt and friendly and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. If I had to do it again, I would have spent more time with the estimator about the deck repairs, it looks fine and they did a good job, but I probably should have replaced the entire thing instead of trying to salvage what was there. The carpentry work was excellent. By and large you cannot tell where they replaced boards, even though the original type of boards are no longer manufactured. Excellent craftsmanship there. The painting was also done quite nicely, they did all proper preparation and cleanup, and the house now appears "new" again (it is 21 years old). I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out well. They did a nice job, came on time and worked real well. I was not happy with their responsiveness because it took them a while to call me back to schedule an appointment. Other than them calling me back they were good. I used The Carpentry and Painting Experts for 16 hours of painting at my grandfather's house.
