The service was great from the viewing down to bringing our mom to Holy Family Church and forth. Cindy Ayala you are a great person and so as your crew. We really appreciate your compassion and mastery of what you do. The grandchildren who were the pall bearers have nothing but great appreciation of the way you carried every task.Thank you fro the bottom of our hearts.
April 4 & 5, 2019 Our Escort Arthur was amazing. The Kindness, gentleness, helpfulness and courtesy was above our expectations. Losing a love one is devastating. Having staff like Arthur during the viewing and burial made things much easier. Thank you to all the Forest Lawn Staff from beginning to End. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. I will forever be Thankful!!
My pre-planning experience was fine. I enjoyed talking with the pre-planner, and I didn't feel rushed or swindled as I chose my cremation package. Unfortunately, they will guide you through every step of the cremation process, down to selecting an urn, and then will reveal the cost of burial on Forest Lawn property. The location I wanted (Hollywood Hills) was full, so they wanted me to purchase a plot or niche at Glendale, which cost thousands of dollars for only a niche. Your customer service was very courteous and kind.. but over all your bussiness and taking advantage of people in need sucks..you sell them plots at outrages prices your cremations are outrages. I still have a plot there but i will never use it.. it will just be empty for the rest of your bussiness... thank you for nothing. Dont remember the guys name who tried to help me..
No real show of interest and no timely follow up
May 2016 Memorial Day weekend. Went to decorate my fathers grave only to find it had been dug up! Mind you had went to prepare grave for decoration two days prior pretty nice green grass. My son was buried Thursday 2/25/2021 in Fond Remembrance, Cypress Forest My son was buried Thursday 2/25/2021 at Cypress Forest Lawn. After burial, all funeral sprays & floral arrangements were placed on his grave. I reside in Cypress & have gone back daily to care for his beautiful flowers. We had an absolutely horrific experience at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills - they lacked communication during the planning process, and they forgot to embalm our family member's body. They didn't realize until 1 week prior to the funeral, when 1.5 months had already passed. On top of that, the day of the funeral there was an employee who was incredibly rude, I believe his name was John Harrison. I use to love this place but now I don't like going there to visit my family because I'm scared of getting robbed. They have a worker there who robs people damages property and is on methamphetamines heavily. His girlfriend is on drugs to she has a daughter who she has barley anything to do with because of her drug habit and because he makes her sit in that nasty black van all day while he is at work so she can go through other workers and people's cars that are there visiting family.
