I was not able to take a tour of the community, but [Removed] was super helpful. She answered all my questions and let me know what they had to offer. I liked the professionalism that they had with me. I would have went here.

I had a loved one in this facility for a time, and it really was a very nice place. It had all sorts of very nice amenities such as beautiful outdoor areas, a ballroom, and a very nice dining service. The facility itself was an older building, but they were always working to revamp it and keep things up to date. My dad was here for a really long time. We thought that was a really good place. He was in independent living, and he only left to go to assisted living. Forest Trace is very well run. They provided two meals a day, and they did have care available on site if you needed it.

Overall, this turned out to be a very sad place to live. I would recommend anybody looking into Forest Trace for a loved one to look elsewhere.
Yeah the place is horrible. They say one thing to your face and 180° different on the action. Took my mom who was able to walk, bathe herself, bathroom, eat and get dressed. Drugged her up something fierce and now she can only feed herself , bedridden. Top it off they continued to charge for a completely empty and clean room AFTER they kicked her out.
We would rate the friendliness and the staff a 0. They need to hire more staff that cares.

We take a look at all the reviews on A Place For Mom. We have an overall 8.7 rating with our Staff at 4.5 (out of 5) and Friendliness at 4.8 – of course there is always room for improvement, but we differ with you on this.
It's very boring. No activities. Also, there isn't good medical care and follow up. The facility seems overwhelmed. No stimulation. The rooms are large and there's privacy but very isolating. say the facility has room for improvement. There is a great staff member that helps as an aide in the memory care but she is busy and can't spend one on one much with anyone

Had very high expectations for the level of care and accommodations at Pacifica Forest Trace memory care facility, even paid more than we were able to afford but we are sadly dissatisfied with the lack of care they have for their residents. Caregivers and nurses do not seem to genuinely care. Communication with management is very poor. We are looking to move my loved one from there.
