Booked a car on line, don't have the original card booked with due to losing it, wouldn't take another card for the deposit OR let the reservation be transferred in another name. My one and only experience with Fox was at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport location Feb.2019. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Do not do business with this company under any circumstances!!! Bait and switch...rude agent...slow service...an insult to any proper business conduct. You've been warned.....

I rented an SUV through them starting on January 30th, 2019. I reserved it on the 16th through WiseCars, a middle agency. Our flights were switched around that day due to inclement weather, so I called Fox to let them know we would be arriving later than previously expected. They told me they were actually entirely sold out of cars, and would not be able to provide ANY car for us at all. I said that we had prepaid already and there must be some mistake. OMG, run from this company! I was one of the thousands of customers who ignored the countless negative reviews of Fox and I paid for it. I won't cover the whole, horrible experience in detail, but will just let everyone know the biggest issue, which is that I waited two hours for roadside assistance, finally called an Uber, and discovered 8 hours later that the service truck was "still on it's way". I finally had to pay for a private service truck to get the car back to Fox.
Never would I recommend this company. We waited in line for over two hours while there. There was at least 45 people in line when one of the two workers left and went on break. While standing and waiting, the one person there was shopping around on line and answering IM's. This is the most ridiculous customer service we have ever dealt with We finally got our vehicle only to find out it was damaged all around. Anything over 55 mph and the whole car shook. Crooks. I booked a car through a third party reservation service who charged me a majority of the rental price, and told me I would just have to pay roughly $70 when I picked up the car. Well, eventually I got double charged thanks to some incompetent service, and Fox is denying they did anything wrong. Do not book with this fraudulent company.
I rented a vehicle that was dirty when I picked it up so I asked the attendant to wash it before I departed. The attendant made sure to ask me if all my personal items were already loaded into the vehicle which I replied yes. She then said she'd come back in 10min with the cleaned vehicle which she did but when the vehicle was returned my $300 Bose headphones were missing (along with the case). Reserved a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2-3 weeks ahead of arriving in Phoenix. Weather delayed flight a few hours. Arrived at service area and waited in line for 50 minutes before the agent informed me the car was not available but a Dodge Charger was "all they had". I explained the need for a larger car since I had 3 golf travel bags, 3 suitcases, and 3 travelers. The Dodge Charger would not be sufficient to handle our needs. Wow - Please, please beware. Supplemental details below but short story: - There is no customer service (phone) line, or representatives. You are instructed that you can leave a voicemail for a call back, or visit online. (I've yet to receive a response) - After numerous in person conversations, requests, and bill's reflecting the correct billing information - Fox still charged incorrectly.
