If there was a 0 star rating this would be it. What rental company charges a discriminatory charge of $1,000 for locals?! Basically the person at the counter said "its to keep the Las Vegas locals from renting". That is ridiculous, sketchy, and unprofessional. Not to mention the building is literally falling apart and the line to even get to the counter was 45 min- 1 hr long. Is there a 0 star rating? I rented a car in Denver and was never told about prepaying for tolls. I just received a $117 bill. The tolls were $27 and the $90 were they junk fees. Unbelievable. I had to wait 1.5 hours for my car to be ready then they gave me a filthy dirty car and was told it was because their car washing machine froze and they couldn't use it. Pathetic. I had to go to the car wash myself and clean it. Stay away from this company. Spend the extra few bucks and save yourself the hassle and frustration.

I rented a car in Las Vegas in 2018 and returned it with a full tank of gasoline. The filling station could be seen from the rental terminal. I was charged for a full tank of gas by which I mean every gallon the car could hold. I filed a complaint Complaint ID#: XXXXXX Business Name: Fox Rent A Car, Inc. I received notice that a response was given but the link can not be found. Worst customer service EVER. We should have definitely read reviews. How is this place still In business??? Booked a car on line, don't have the original card booked with due to losing it, wouldn't take another card for the deposit OR let the reservation be transferred in another name. Pretty much said "oh well" walked next door and got great service. Apparently they don't want or need business. Was told "eventually" the $ we paid on line would be returned. My one and only experience with Fox was at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport location Feb.2019. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Do not do business with this company under any circumstances!!! Bait and switch...rude agent...slow service...an insult to any proper business conduct. You've been warned.....

I rented an SUV through them starting on January 30th, 2019. I reserved it on the 16th through WiseCars, a middle agency. Our flights were switched around that day due to inclement weather, so I called Fox to let them know we would be arriving later than previously expected. They told me they were actually entirely sold out of cars, and would not be able to provide ANY car for us at all. I said that we had prepaid already and there must be some mistake. OMG, run from this company! I was one of the thousands of customers who ignored the countless negative reviews of Fox and I paid for it. I won't cover the whole, horrible experience in detail, but will just let everyone know the biggest issue, which is that I waited two hours for roadside assistance, finally called an Uber, and discovered 8 hours later that the service truck was "still on it's way". I finally had to pay for a private service truck to get the car back to Fox.
Never would I recommend this company. We waited in line for over two hours while there. There was at least 45 people in line when one of the two workers left and went on break. While standing and waiting, the one person there was shopping around on line and answering IM's. This is the most ridiculous customer service we have ever dealt with We finally got our vehicle only to find out it was damaged all around. Anything over 55 mph and the whole car shook.
