Horrible horrible horrible RUN! We rented a car for one day they then charged us a late fee and an extra day when we actually dropped the car off early. And why is it that only the good reviews get a comment from management/owner? Shouldn’t you be trying to take care of the customers that left negative review to try and win them back? That’s right the whole company lack basic customer service skills just Maryland.

Picked up at San Diego Airport and was told by Marylin they don’t have the full size we reserved. She offered a Jeep but told me the jeep cost $29.99 more to upgrade. She said they also have a Dodge Charger and said the charger would be less than the jeep. We picked up at 1pm on 02/08/2022 and returned the car the next morning around 8:30am. We turned up to pick up the car we had hired in San Diego via an intermediary agency on time (28/01/2021 @ 11am) and were told we needed to provide an International Driving License. We didn't know this as the UK license is already in English and the state of California doesn't require this. We explained this to the staff and they said that still they couldn't hire the car to us but that they will contact the hire agency to allow us to get a refund. Do not be terrified by their sales pitch on purchasing insurance. Check with your own insurance agent before buying any from Fox. Other than that, the experience was great.

Very unhappy. 1. They charged us for insurance we clearly didn’t agree to 2. They charged us a late fee when we dropped the car off ten hours early 3. The car was terrible: steering shook at all speeds especially at higher speeds. The suspension made noises going over any bump, the windshield wipers were completely shredded and unusable, and the overall quality was horrible and didn’t feel very safe. 4.
