We asked multiple times how much the total charge would be. We had a paper stating the charge they quoted us. Upon returning the car, they tried to charge us a higher rate, stating they didn’t bring us the car we signed up for when we picked up the car and that they gave us an upgraded car. I told them that that wasn’t our problem, in which he replied, if we had a problem with it, we should have said something at pick up. Been broken down on the side of the highway for 3 hours no tow truck, no new vehicle for me the customer to be on my way. No answer from the customer service line. ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE of a rental car company avoid them at all cost you are far better off rental one of the scooters downtown.
They will " Cross Sell " you to death! They don't stop trying to get you to buy more, to get a better car, no matter how much to ask them to stop, they will not. Also, impossible to get a hold of if you need anything or have a question.
This is my second and last rental, I was double charged after booking online because they wouldn’t accept my credit card, then told I would receive the money back on the Saturday (this was Thurs), then called on Mon when it still wasn’t there and after being on hold for 15-20 mins the first time I was hung up on, then the second person told me it’d be back in my account in 3-5 days from today, when I asked to then have the fuel charge waived was told it’s not possible and I’d have to speak to the local office, which after be... read more
You must be joking to ask me to write a recommendation on fox! I cancelled my reservation!! Rented a compact car they tried to give me one that had a part duct taped to it. I was told it was their only compact car did I want to pay for an upgrade. HECK NO! The website had the next line of car up for the same price. It didn’t matter I cancelled and went to Avis and had a great experience. Even check in at Fox took forever!!!
Hopefully you won't have any problems because if you try to call and get help you WON'T get it. They do NOT answer their phone! Will not go through them again
