We made the mistake of booking via expedia before checking the reviews. We were renting a larger SUV for the purpose of a family road trip. You couldn't beat the price (red flag) and many of the more well known rental companies had low inventory...yet Fox had plenty availability (another red flag). This is the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental! First the car stunk terribly and made all our belongings smell like a dog or BO not sure which but not good. Was not cleaned at all and then charged us $752.57 for 6 days for a ****** Corolla Most of the extra charges are abbreviated so you dont know what youre actually getting charged for? I wish I could give this company negative stars. My family and I arrived in ***** from **. When we arrived at Fox Rentals I was told they could not accept my card, even this was the same card I that I reserved my rental with a deposit of over $300. They would not accept any of my other cards or take cash. The attendant said he was just following company policy. ***************************** Worst place don't rent here directly or 3rd party. They have the worst customer service they DO NOT ACCOMMODATE whatsoever. You need a car go to *************** better costumers service and accommodation and you can pick up you vehicle early or late in your flight is delayed no wait on reservation time.

The rental car from h*** We waited nearly 3 hours for a rental car at their ******* location. They put down the wrong person as the main driver even after they physically took my husbands drivers license and recorded it. They charged us for extras after we declined wanting the pre-paid fuel and other services. I should have listened to the reviews about Fox. I reserved a car from them at their *** (*********************) location. I later received an email from Fox saying they were closing their location there but that ************** ********************* has agreed to honor your existing FOX reservation rate." After many phone calls and emails and much time spent, I was told by *** that *********** would be able to offer me a "competitive" rate, which meant make a new reservation and hope there's a good price. What a crock of s*** I got a bill for ***** for tolls that only cost **** but they charged me ***** in admin fees. You didnt do c*** but make out this ridiculous bill what a total rip off never again Fox Rent a Car sucks!!??????

I had a reservation a car with *** and when I went to pick up the car on 7/22/23 at ******************* the representative very impolitely told me they haven't that car which I reserved and charge me $15.99 more, I never see like this, usually if rental car hasn't the reserved car they apologize and give another car with no extra charge, I think they do that for get more money and their reputation is not important for them, I never go there again.

When picking up the car in ******, we were asked if we would be driving on toll roads. We said we didn't know. They said, Well, are you driving to ******* or **************** or any other place like that? We said no. We stayed right in the ****** area and did not knowingly occur any tolls. *** sent ** a bill for three tolls. The tolls added up to $13, but *** charged us $45 additional in administrate fees!!! What a ripoff!There was no way to pay the tolls on the road.
