We arrived on time for our scheduled pickup of our confirmed rental, and they had NO VEHICLES AVAILABLE! No notification was given to us that our reservation was no longer available. We waited over an hour in line to find out that they did not have any cars. Avoid FOX Rental Car in Phoenix. Multiple customers with car reservations were sent scrambling to other rental agencies.

I made a reservation online for a rental car. My flight was delayed causing me to be late for my reservation. After waiting in line for an hour i was told i was too late for my reservation and my car was given away. Understandably, my reservation was cancelled and they couldn't give me any rental under $300.00. Company failed to honor my reservation late on Christmas Eve, of all days. No offer of help, nothing even though the city was completed sold-out. The Operations Manager had some type of attitude and believe he was showing off in front of his employees how tough he was.

If I could put a 0 I would! We have been trying to get in touch with FOX since we got the vehicle. You call the office where you get the vehicle and they cant help with anything, call main office and keep getting call back saying call volume high please try again later, we have gotten then automated call back for 7 days now and yet to speak to someone. Scam. I had pre-paid rental at Fox Car rental in Denver, Airport location, CO. The agent name Elijah first offered me multiple sales pitches for usual "coverage, equipment etc" then when I declined tried to defraud my credit card. He asked me to put the chip in then "sign for the deposit"...he hid several hundred dollars of already declined insurance coverage. This company offers low rates to entice customers and then sneaks in fees without letting the customer know. My $144 bill went to $355. You will also wait in line for hours! There is a reason their competitors are slightly more.

Fox Car Rentals are the worst car rental experience I've ever had. I booked online through Kayak.com, paid for the insurance, etc, everything online. Thought all I had to do was walk in and pick up. Wrong. We renting from this company for our family vacation to Breckenridge. We waiting in line over an hour to rent our car. Then got in it and it was so DIRTY! They didn't even clean it from the last renters. Then once we Returned it we noticed that we left our iPad in there. We located it at their facility, and took a taxi back to there to claim it. They claimed they didn't have it even though my app said it was there. So apparently they have Thieves that work there. I do not recommend them at all and will never use them again! ... read more

As with many other reviewers, I signed up for a Fox rental because it had a cheap listing and then when I landed in Ft Lauderdale I was not allowed to rent a car without purchasing Fox's overpriced insurance. Literally the guy would not let me. When I kept insisting over and over and over that I had already gotten insurance through the booking agency and I didn't want Fox's insurance, he LIED and told me that this insurance doesn't meet Florida requirements.
