We rented a vehicle from them. Our flight was delayed getting into the Orlando Airport by an hour. When we arrived at the shuttle station to get picked up we had to wait for over an hour and half for the shuttle to come and get us. In the mean time I called to see where the shuttle was, and while on hold I kept getting told that there were 10+ calls in front of me. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We are pretty easy going, so the long wait picking up our car, and then being given an absolutely filthy car (large stains, layers of stains on every seat and filthy carpets etc) followed by getting another car that was still not clean but ok didn't really upset me. Like I said, we are patient and thought we would give them a pass **** it might have been a bad night, and the place was short staffed and the two workers were grumpy. We let it go. I made a reservation to rent a car from Fox. The terms were that if I cancelled they would issue me a credit. Now they are saying that the credit expires in three months when there was no expiration date for the credit when I rented the car. They are also refusing to refund my security deposit even though I never rented the car. They are beyond sleazy!!! Do not rent from Fox Rent A Car. They are scam artists at best.

2 out of 3 bad rental!!!! The first time i rented from fox rent a car in salt lake city. They just left us setting at the air port we ended up having to rent from another company for a lot more than we planned on. The second time we ended up waiting for close to an hour before they pick us up. Everything went pretty good other than the jeep being totally dirty i had to go wash it once i got it. I was rear ended by a driver of a Fox rent a car over 8 months ago. His car had to be towed away due to the damage. My insurance company and myself have called many many times, sent emails, etc. I've been on hold for over an hour and get nowhere. I was at no fault and have thousands of dollars of damage to my car that needs to be covered for by Fox!! Stay away from this corrupt company! I don't know how they are still in business.

I wish I could give zero stars. This company is a bunch of CROOKS!!!! They were unable to honor my pre-paid booking and made us book again. I was told the contracts would be merged so that I could receive a refund of the original paid amount. When I called to confirm I was yelled at by their customer service member (after waiting 2hrs) without her even asking for my confirmation number. Advertised on Orbitz for $23.95/day ended up paying $52.44/day including taxes and fees for SFO Airport. Gas included at $65 but all the rest were charges not included in quote from Orbitz! The counter person asked where I was headed and I said Napa and she adamantly convinced me that I had to pay the toll for the bridges up front and charged me $95 which was going to and from the bridge 7x but I was going to Napa one way and returning to SFO one way, ended up only paying less than $25 for tolls!!! If I could give a zero star (or negative) I would! We rented a car from them (in Oakland, CA) in Nov 2018 and returned it appropriately to their kiosk before they were open and placed the keys in the appropriate box. Come to find out 3 weeks later (via a text message) that they accused us of stealing the car! By Feb 2018 they would no longer update us on the situation and told us we could only get more information from the police (who also would not return my calls). I made a reservation and my plans changed. Foxrentacar refused to refund my car rental plus deposit. They have included a legal no refund policy in their small print contract. They immediately at the time of your reservation bill your visa and then keep your money regardless of your situation. It's a scam to make money. They apparently have a legal department that specializes in this practice. Their customer service phone line took 4 hours to call me back only to refer me to another number that denied my request.
