Our second time here. Exceptional service and food. Look forward to retuning again. Highly recommend the filet mignon.
I love Friar Tucks. It's a great getaway for a nice night out and my friends love it as well. The food is consistently outstanding, the wait staff are competent and very welcoming! We enjoy the entertainment as well. It's a personal favorite!
Great food but portions were definitely very small for the price
We had a wonderful meal!!! The waiter suggested an excellent entree, the rib cap, it was excellent! I added the green pepper corn sauce and it was a great finishing touch! My wife had the filet minon and she loved it too!!! Great atmosphere, wonderful wait staff and great cocktails!!! Highly recommended!!!
The food was very good. The waiter not so much. Had to plead with him for separate checks. We knew other people in the restaurant who recd separate checks. Bus trip. Anyway he did accommodate our request.
Always great food and love dining in Nevada City for the Victorian Christmas!
I was very sad. They did not have the regular fondue and that is the reason I go to the restaurant. I have not been since Covid and will probably not be back. That was the highlight of our trip to Nevada City
We have eaten here before and it was perfect and quiet. This time Victorian Christmas was in full swing. More than 2k people. Somehow with all the chaos and demand they still kept our dinner reservation on time. The food came with in very acceptable timing with everyone including the General Manager working to make it all happen. Crazy busy but they pulled it off. You can’t go wrong and the drinks and food were excellent!
Very attentive service & the ambiance and food choices are wonderful!! I had the baked brie and french onion soup - yum! We ate here before one the Christmas street fairs - highly recommend. Make a reservation and don't be late - we were maybe 5 min after out time and the manager told the front desk to seat those who came early for a later reservation - not ideal...but duly noted.
