Love Friar text haven’t been there in a long time at least a year
Our friends from the Bay Area were in town and we wanted to introduce them to Friar Tucks! From the host to the bus sets to the waitress to the greeting from the owner to the sommelier to the outstanding food I don’t think it could have been better. In fact, it was so good. Our friends ended up getting a gift card as a gift for the wedding they were attending the next day. We highly recimmend Friar Tucks!

Our first time for dinner….its a lovely place with excellent service. Guitarist out front made for a nice ambiance. My husband has the rib-eye , which was superb. I ordered the chicken marsala which was a bit odd. A few medallions of sliced chicken breast, No mushrooms, or if so not detectable, it had almost a relish type marsala topping of shredded onions but no sauce. This is always a good meal. It is our favorite Nevada County eatery. The food and service are always great. It is a truly enjoyable meal in all aspects.
It was a fantastic dinner. We both had the Prime Rib and it was premium. It was such a satisfying experience. The owner even came and greeted us at our table. It was a wonderful experience that was 100% enjoyable.
We have visited this establishment three or four times now and have enjoyed every visit. The menu is robust with a diverse selection of wines and ports. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience is on point. Go to for date nights.
We were so excited to spend our 26th wedding anniversary dinner here! We were last here in December & it was too long ago! We had a beautiful little sign on our table wishing us a happy anniversary, such a lovely touch. Our server was gracious & kind as was the hostess. Our meal was absolutely delicious, I had the filet mignon, cooked to perfection & my husband enjoyed the halibut special. We can't wait until we can visit again!
