Well, Mike the service manager and the dealership likes to gouge customers. Issue with the navigation, speedometer, and the weather not uploading. Literally could go 90mph and it would show 0mph. (System needs updated. Not covered under the warranty). So, with that being said. Mr. Mike wanted to charge $450 and “didn’t want his bays tied up” when you literally don’t need the vehicle. They tell you they are going to to take care of you then do not. Bought a vehicle that was supposed to have the multi point inspection took it back the next week to have work done it failed the inspection. Told us to bring it back to be fixed did not do all the work to it . Left messages with the receptionist,salesman no one returned our calls not pleased at all. They tell you anything to sell a vehicle.
Since I bought my car, I have told them about the torn seat belt. They never get back to me about it . Well when I ask about it again they won't cover to fix it, when it should have never been sold that way. That is a big safety risk.
Would avoid service department at all costs. Had oil service on new vehicle 300 miles later on trip stranded! Towed to dealer out of town no oil! Tech found gasket pinched in oil filter causing oil to leak out.
My husband and I must have gotten Jason Davis as our car sales man on a bad day. Due to the unprofessional circumstances we took our business next door to Subaru. Never again.
We did not have a good experience here. Our salesman got frustrated at us when we decided it wasn’t in our best financial interest. We waited for an hour, and we were still treated rudely.
Purchased my vehicle here in 2015, started hearing a noise in 2019, took it in to be fixed 3 different times, the service department “couldn’t find anything wrong”. In 2020 I was out of state and the engine died-a dealership in Kentucky replaced the engine. The same noise is happening again. I’ve received documents in the mail that the engine is bad and needs replaced. I took my vehicle back in and “they can’t hear anything and nothing is wrong with the vehicle”. Worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. The salesman wasn’t even willing to help or show us any options. Talked to someone on the phone that said they had the vehicles on the lot and when we got there none were out or able to be sold. The salesman didn’t know where any vehicles were or what they had. I will never be returning to this dealership.
I highly recommend NOT buying a vehicle from Hometown Kia. After running our credit numerous times, we was informed by Drew McKinney that we could not afford a new truck. He informed us that if we went anywhere else to buy a truck that no one would finance us due to previously being financed through a community bank. With that being said, he tried to sell us a SUV. The next week we went to Crossroads Chevrolet and drove off in a new truck! I will never step foot in there again.
