Went there a few weeks ago for grinding noise. Figured it was something with the brakes, they told me I needed all 4 brake pads and rotors changed and wanted to charge me $600 some dollars!! I told them I could get aftermarket parts cheaper, he gets on the phone and comes back with price of $300 some dollars lol I went to 2 different mechanics for quotes and they both said rotors were fine and it was only the front brake pads that needed changed. I tried to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and was treated as less than a person. I made an appointment, and when I showed up, the person I had made the appointment with was unavailable. Then, I was shuffled to a very nice salesperson; however, he was too busy to work with me. The service department has our brand new K5 for a week and still not looked at it. No answers, no estimates, nothing. So fair warning if your new car has every light on, power steering out, no hazard lights and it’s towed to Beckley, they have 3 technicians working and are unable to offer service in a timely manner. And no loaner because they have to see what’s wrong with your car for kia to possibly approve a loaner
This review is based on the service department. Since ownership has changed from hometown to friendship the service Dept is absolutely HORRIBLE. My first visit was like talking to the wall when trying to get my oil changed and tire rotation. Gave them the benefit of doubt where it was under new ownership and new employees. Well, Mike the service manager and the dealership likes to gouge customers. Issue with the navigation, speedometer, and the weather not uploading. Literally could go 90mph and it would show 0mph. (System needs updated. Not covered under the warranty). So, with that being said. Mr. Mike wanted to charge $450 and “didn’t want his bays tied up” when you literally don’t need the vehicle. They tell you they are going to to take care of you then do not. Bought a vehicle that was supposed to have the multi point inspection took it back the next week to have work done it failed the inspection. Told us to bring it back to be fixed did not do all the work to it . Left messages with the receptionist,salesman no one returned our calls not pleased at all. They tell you anything to sell a vehicle.
Since I bought my car, I have told them about the torn seat belt. They never get back to me about it . Well when I ask about it again they won't cover to fix it, when it should have never been sold that way. That is a big safety risk.
Would avoid service department at all costs. Had oil service on new vehicle 300 miles later on trip stranded! Towed to dealer out of town no oil! Tech found gasket pinched in oil filter causing oil to leak out.
