We did not have a good experience here. Our salesman got frustrated at us when we decided it wasn’t in our best financial interest. We waited for an hour, and we were still treated rudely.
Purchased my vehicle here in 2015, started hearing a noise in 2019, took it in to be fixed 3 different times, the service department “couldn’t find anything wrong”. In 2020 I was out of state and the engine died-a dealership in Kentucky replaced the engine. The same noise is happening again. I’ve received documents in the mail that the engine is bad and needs replaced. I took my vehicle back in and “they can’t hear anything and nothing is wrong with the vehicle”. Worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. The salesman wasn’t even willing to help or show us any options. Talked to someone on the phone that said they had the vehicles on the lot and when we got there none were out or able to be sold. The salesman didn’t know where any vehicles were or what they had. I will never be returning to this dealership.
I highly recommend NOT buying a vehicle from Hometown Kia. After running our credit numerous times, we was informed by Drew McKinney that we could not afford a new truck. He informed us that if we went anywhere else to buy a truck that no one would finance us due to previously being financed through a community bank. With that being said, he tried to sell us a SUV. The next week we went to Crossroads Chevrolet and drove off in a new truck! I will never step foot in there again.
To be fair and not to sale people cars when the engine is going out to make some money because someone can seriously get hurt.
This place will lie and manipulate numbers in the sale just to get their money. They are very dishonest and once they have your money they are done with you. Stay away from Hometown!
We purchased a used vehicle in June and it was serviced 7 times in the first 3 weeks. 5 months later after almost $600 in repairs, the spark plugs needed replaced, there was an antifreeze leak, and needed a new battery. I understand the car is used, but did they do an inspection at all?
This vehicle in the picture we purchased February 25, 2017 burns a quarter of oil every 1000 miles! Been to hometown Kia to there garage and was told to run 1000 mile test and bring it back it and they would check the oil. We run the 1000 mile test 4x and was told tey it was normal. We took the pictures of the dip stick every time and have our own prof that the vehicle was burning a quarter of oil and took it in for them and was told by there men that the the oil was still on full.
