Had to change DDS since family DDS retired. I call my insurance carrier to find our list to select from. To be honest I blindly selected this office solely because it was the only name I could pronounce (call me a racist ass, but at least I'm an honest one). My daughter showed up and did not have to wait long (good). She was brought in and the staff took x-rays. After waiting four days for a call back from the office manager, I decided to drop-in. The staff was very apologetic and offered to take a look. My general dentist was no longer there; but the new dentist took me right in. He found blisters over the open wounds that had been left from the oral surgeon. He was very kind and treated the blisters with a topical antibiotic and anesthetic, advising me to return if I incur any further challenges. He'd like to see me back in two weeks to adjust my dentures.

Have been coming here for over a year, and it seems that every time I go In they try to find "something" wrong, and the try to up sell additional services that my insurance doesn't cover. Im very diligent with my oral care, so I don't buy all their sells pitch. Maria seems pushy trying to get you to cough up more money. I dislike this practice an believe this is deceiving and horrible business practice. Your a paycheck to them, not a patient. Absolutely TERRIBLE. -They other someone else's xrays still put up when I got into the exam room. -They used white filling when I specifically asked for the silver (which was covered by ins.). Then charged me for the white. -Had my son's chart and personal information just sitting out on the front desk without a folder or anything. (When I had walked through the door. I wasn't even there yet.) The young woman there who is the assistant I assume I really sweet though.

I went here for the first time for just a routine cleaning. I would give this practice a half star if that was an option. This was the filthiest medical facility that I have ever been in! The equipment is old, that's okay, but it has the original filth on it. The dental chair base in room 6 has a nonslip texture in white plastic. Wellll, it was white....once upon a time. I went to Gentle Dental because they were offering a 'special' $25 for x-rays, an exam, and a teeth cleaning. I left without a teeth cleaning, in fact they *refused* to clean my teeth because they said I needed to get the deep cleaning which was $500, and I also left with a $4,000 estimate of work that needed to be done. I'm no dental hygienist, but I do take care of my teeth and have fairly regular checkups, so this came as a shock to me. Update: Went in to see Maria about paying most of my balance. Scheduled another appt. with their other oral surgeon. Still have a feeling that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. But knowing what I know now, I will be more cautious at the next appt. Ant the auto-response from "Cedric T.," if you care so much about my concerns and are, in fact, employed with Gentle Dental then you can contact me. Do a service to your company, make it a PERSONAL contact.

I went to have a broken tooth pulled, after the x rays and exam, they told me what all should be done basically $750 a tooth, I do not have insurance and $750 per tooth is a lot of money. The money aside they would not pull my painful broken tooth until they did a root canal on the one next to it, after I said no that I just wanted the one taken care of, they said "ok well I guess you're done then."
