The dentist that I saw was very sweet but that;s where it ended! This dental practice is back in the stone age. The chairs and dental equipment are from the 80's if best . They still use the old heavy folded cardboard that you have to painfully cram into your mouth to take an x ray. ( i last had a dentist use these on me in the 90's) also the girl taking a tooth impression had to redo it 3 times because they use the old goo for your mouth and the girl said she wasn't trained to use the old stuff in dental assistant school. ... read more

I had an awful experience at this dentist. First Maria wrote up the billing saying I was to have five fillings. It was only suppose to be three fillings. They were going to fill two fillings on one side. I showed up on time for the app at 8am. They started and drilled the two fillings. The dentist and assistant then said ok you can have a break and left the room. I laid there for a bit and finally sat up wondering if they were coming back. Looking around the place was very disgusting and not clean. I felt stuck since they ha... read more

Front office staff was great. Do not recommend if you have a phobia about going to the dentist. Was overwhelmed by the amount of work that was said needed to be done. Dentist was harsh, not compassionate. Dentist not in the office full time. Will not be returning. I should have read the yelp reviews first.

Business response:

Dear Anne C., Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. It is essential for you to know our primary goal is patient satisfaction and excellent service. We take your comment very seriously and would like to help resolve this matter with you. My wife went in because she needed a root canal done and crowns. The did the root canal but charged my wife a 300$ co-pay and started telling her they had to do this and then this our insurance didn't; cover this. She couldn't get all work done because they said we had to pay because our insurance covered a certain amount. These people don't care about you and are money grubbing sharks. Please do not go here they have robbed us and now we are being forced to go to our insurance carrier that has told us they put the full $ am... read more

Paul G., Gentle Dental accepts most, if not all, insurance plans. Each plan has their own guidelines and fee schedules. Our policy is to estimate our patients' co-payments based on the current information in our system. The insurance companies will copy us on the Evidence of Benefit (EOB) that is sent to the patient. The EOB outlines what is being paid by the insurance company and what, if any additional fees, are the patient's responsibility. We will send a statement to the patient shortly after the EOB is received. We ... read more

BEFORE YOU SELECT THIS DENTAL OFFICE, READ ON: I rarely write a review on Yelp, however, I had to warn others. I had a dental appt set for 12 noon last week just to get one half of my mouth a deep cleaning. I didn't get out of this office until 4 PM. One screw up after another, I kept sitting on the fence whether to get up and leave or ride their screw ups just to get my teeth cleaned. I drove 50 miles to this office, so I went through the problems...finally getting out of there close to 4 PM. Now, I am changing my dentist t... read more

I had a cleaning appointment scheduled. I arrived before my appointment time. No mention was made that the hygienist might be running late. No one ever informed me that my wait would be extremely excessive. After waiting 45 minutes, I asked how much longer it would be before I would be seen. I was told it would be another 10 minutes or so. I decided to wait. After waiting a total of 1 hr. and 15 min. I walked out. I find the staff behavior extremely disrespectful and non-caring.

This office has gone down hill since I was there last. The staff girls are great, but I feel like they have a scam going on. In all my years of going to the dentist, when you need something done, the dentist did it, now I need a root canal and suddenly the dentist won't do it and they "refer" you to a "specialist" with a much higher charge rate than my insurance contract with the dentist has...$1100.00 vs $175 by the dentist, that doesn't include the crown. And this "specialist" is on the staff. My daughter told me that ... read more

My wife had a terrible time at their office. They had completed a procedure without numbing the injection spot. Several weeks later she was still in pain and went back in. They wanted to do more work and were about to give her another shot without numbing her gums and she complained. They did numb it. She said they laughed at her for not letting them give her the shot without numbing her gums first. Then I went in requesting to reglue a crown that came off. They took an X Ray and a dentist said I had an infection. She wanted... read more
