The ambience and decor here are truly lovely — the space is beautifully curated and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. The service was also a highlight of the evening. Our bartender/server was attentive and genuinely kind; when he noticed that the lemon rosemary wings were barely touched, he asked about them, listened to our feedback, and graciously removed them from the bill, which we appreciated. I Ordered gluten free food but it was not. I had a reaction
First my table was positioned in front of the door to the outside seating area and it was cold that evening so the table was uncomfortable (I didn't mention it so my fault for not addressing it that evening) Noisy restaurant made table side conversations difficult Calamari was very good Main course food was fair, lacked flavor
We made reservations for our first time visit to celebrate a birthday. The food was abysmal. Unremarkable, way way over salted, and meager portions! The ambiance was visually beautiful, but the atmosphere was so loud we could barely hear one another without raising our voices. We Heard alot of people talking about this place and decided to go for our 30th wedding anniversary dinner. From the start not good. Place really quiet at 5:30pm so expected great everything. Hostess never said hi or greeted us. Started walking with menus but never said follow me,etc. Just rude with a puss on her face. Definitely not worth the very large tab. Service was do slow we sat for about 10 minutes before waitstaff even approached the table. Thank goodness for the good runners they brought everything out to the table and had to find the waitress for additional beverages. Waitress basically ignored the table. I feel bad writing this review because the manager tried to make it right but the overall experience was rough. 1. We got assigned a waitress who was also just assigned a table of at least 15. She was extremely overwhelmed and it took forever for use to receive service 2. Our entrees TERRIBLE. The steak tips i extremely tough and tasted like nothing and the chicken was undercooked. Loved the food but was disappointed in the service.
The restaurant was very loud—fine for me, but not ideal for my parents. The Bolognese was disappointing; it tasted more like American Chop Suey tossed with pappardelle than a proper Bolognese. It lacked depth, flavor, and any of the characteristics that define the dish. On the positive side, the scallop appetizer was well done. Overall, though, I won’t be returning.
