We dined here last night and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The atmosphere was incredibly loud, to the point where we could barely hear each other at our table. The hostesses were rude and seemed uninterested, possibly because the noise made communication difficult. Our waitress was initially pleasant, but overall inattentive. I personally found this to be an overpriced mess of a restaurant. Go literally anywhere else.
Too rushed for the price. After being seated for 1 hour and 15 minutes we were reminded by the waitress that they needed the table. Our reservations were for 6:30 and we were seated about 10 minutes early. Not sure why they were in such a hurry but for that money.. I think 90 minutes at least would be more appropriate. Manager disagreed….there are lots of better places around without the rush so they can turn over tables to profit more
This was our second time here. We sat for only an hour the waitress was uncouth immediately demanded we leave when bill was served said table was booked for another reservation. Manager was informed but did not care and was not responsive. Totally shocked after spending over $400 never again!
Waitress was outstanding, food delicious, setting horrible.
We were hoping for a relaxed night with friends, but was rushed out the door with a time limit. They claim other restaurants are doing the same, but I’ve never experienced this before and I dine in some of the best restaurants often.
My husband and I and two friends made reservations. We were seated when the waitress came over and before asking us about drinks informed us there was a time limit of 90 minutes. Felt pressured by same we decided not to do appetizer since we were unaware of how long main entree might take. After dinner she said we had 20 minutes left. Decided not to have dessert or after dinner drink. Restaurant is very loud also. Disappointing evening out!
The food was eh and it’s very dark in there. It should be advertise more as a bar because they aren’t accommodating the people that are coming in for food. It’s too dark, very noisy the waitress asked us to repeat multiple times because she couldn’t hear, and the food isn’t what they are focused on. The food was not the best and I got the chicken sandwich. The chicken was 2 inches thick. I would not go back.
Finally I had a chance to patronized Giana’s. I made reservations for 7 PM on Saturday and they seated us promptly. First impression; nice- a very vivid video display of fish on the wall, very modern decor and high ceilings although the seating consisted of very hard wooden seats. Unfortunately, the noise level was through the roof to the point where you could not hear across the table nor the waitress and I almost decided to leave then.
